I wouldn't for me it wouldn't feel right .... If they where to do it to me and go out with one of my ex I don't think I would mind but if they your real friend they know that is not right .....
 
I always thought it was a rule to not mess around w/ an EX

HOWEVER what if u knew a guy but he ended up messing with someone else whom u've never met but online...... and they break up- u end up talkin to him. Is that Sloppy seconds??????
 
I wouldnt date ariend ex like angie i dont dig left overs lol...I would not care if a friend was with any of my ex except my sons father then we have problems lol

Personally, I Think It's Up To The Person. Sometimes There's A Major History That One Can't Get Over And Therefore Can't Stand For Their "ex" To Move On With Someone Close To Them.other Times The Relationship Dissolves Into Friendship And You Just Want To See Your "ex" Happy, No Matter Who It's With. Personally I Don't Believe In The Term "sloppy Seconds" Because Unless You Are The First One Ever To Be With The Person, You're Getting "sloppy Seconds" Whether You Look At It That Way Or Not. But Also, If Anything Were Ever To Happen Between My Husband And I To Where We Weren't Together And He Moved On, I Would Hopefully Get Along With The Person Because I Don't Need The Stress Of Hatred In My Life And My Children Don't Either. The Only Stipulation To That Is That I Would Never Be With A Man Who Has In Any Way, Shape, Or Form Been With My Sisters. That's Just Gross To Me.. So Until Next Time, Take Care Of Yourselves.....and Eachother.
 
My Friends Ex Is Totally Out Of The Question. I Wouldnt Even Think About It Thats Just Wrong.
 
I've never done it, but had it done to me, so I know that it sucks. It just would bother me cuz there's so many guys in this world, why would she choose to be with one you've already "been with"? And if you guys are really close, then you guys might have to go out together and she'll bring him along, which pretty much keeps him in your life.
My friends and I would never do that to each other. If I ever find myself liking one of my friend's exes, I get that out my head, quick.
 
I've never done it. But I knew for sure my best friend went out with one ex. She doesn't have the guts to tell me, cause I think she feels bad about it (I found out from another source), but I don't mind cause she got the sloppy seconds--not me. So I don't mind.

Would I do it to someone else--NEVER. There are so many men outthere I don't need to dig on sloppy seconds :nono

But I don't think it's disrespectful. It could mean the breakup of a friendship!!!????. I wouldn't do it- even though I don't care if they do it to me.
 
I did it. I dated a friends ex, but I checked with him first to see what he thought about it. He didn't mind though he did warn me about her. I should've listened to him. So I don't think there is anything wrong with it as long as you check with your friend first. If I saw it would've bothered him, I would've never dated her.
