Johnny O has been an inspiration in my life like I can imagine for all peeps who grew up in their young years in the late 80's and early 90's.......I remember pumping his music as my friends headed for the clubs in 91.....ahh..the good ol days.....and to this day still jam his music and his new music. My boy mario knows every single word of his new album which trips me out because I had the album first and he managed to learn it all before me..LOL!! Johnny is a good friend and is a cool guy to talk to and hang out!!! Johnny has my support in all of his music!! If you guys haven't read any of my interviews...check them out..I HAVE 2 of them....and have live video footage of him at a concert he did in San Antonio, TX and in Baton Rouge, LA......its in windows media format and may take a while for the dial ups but for the DSL or Cable...Piece of cake.....Peace

i hope the contest is still open..i was in the dark about it.

i've been a fan since i was a young teen back in the 80's. when ever i had heartbreak i would listen hours on end to memories, fantasy girl, we can't go on this way, don't go away, & runaway love to name the most memorable songs to me. my parents would come into my bedroom @ 1 am and make me turn off my cassette player. finally they bought me headphones and i would fall asleep listening to his music. when i turned 18 yo i became a hairdresser at a salon and made sure his music was played when i was working. i had all of his cassettes, unfortunately when i got married i brought my collection with me on my new voyage. the sad news is i divorced and my ex husband still to this day is keeping my freestyle tapes& cd's despite what the divorce papers state. he claims he can't find them. i know he's lying he liked the music too.

not to worry i now replaced everything on mp3's & cd's but i really like the memories the tapes held for me.

i will alwys love johnny o and exclaim : he gives me the BIG O!!
