You have to realize that when a chain store sends a "shipment" of a freestyle cd to a regional store, sometimes that "shipment" is only 1 or 2 cd's.
They do the "wait & see" how it sells.
If 2 copies sell, right away, then they might order 3 copies.
The problem is it might take forever for them to get the re-order in.
I have had this discussion with managers at chain record stores many times, about thier so-called "problems with the distribution wherehouse"

To the dude asking about Chapter 3:
I bought my copy at some music store on Broadway in lower Manhattan. The store seemed to have a huge amount of ZYX imports, singles and full-lengths. It was near the J&R Music world but it was a smaller store.. I forget the name. But this probably doesn't help you unless you happen to live in or are visiting NYC.

Correct me if im wrong, but "we", as being CF personell, should not be insulting on the quality of the music. afterall, Johnny O & ZYX are some of our sponsors and I don't think we should be bad mouthing them. we are working on a professional level now. It is not our job to degrade or ridicule them. I have never, ever insulted any artist/lable as long as i held my position here in CF. I direct this towards you, RHOQ & PETER. You represent the site now, please refrain from hurting the sponsors.

i dont like Zyx Music (Germany) and that is my opinion and of many others here.......thats because i dont like the way they handle some things and how they choose the songs for their called "Freestyle Vol Series" now Vol.17 is available and i dont find it worth spending money for it.....and they dont care about their customers...no reply to E-Mails...and that is not happening just to myself.....it happens to others, too....Also they might gave Johnny wrong informations about his Releases.....and when you Name me and Rhoq about Zyx you have to Name a few others also.....And this has nothing to do with Johnny personaly.....

Correct. Nobody on the planet has everybody for a fan.. You take the good and the bad. Of course, I think bad-mouthing the sponsors is a bad idea. But, I doubt they'd pull sponsorship because of a few bad apples. Especially here being that this is THE #1 Freestyle site on the planet...

Look at the newspaper. Even Michael Jackson is complaining that his label didn't promote his new CD.
I agree though that they should try to stick to a release date and not change it, and make the CD affordable and easy to find. Is that too much to ask? I say NO!!
And I by the way I LOVE JohnnyO's music. I have asked WHY ZYX and not a label from the USA, does anyone know how that came about? I have ZYX comps and I enjoy them, but is an artists choices that limited nowadays??
