Is it just me or do people seriously have a problem against freestyle music? Over the years, the people I know or came across always have something negative to say about the music (old school and new school) Negative as in insulting it, bringing it down, claiming there's no talent, saying it's too mushy, saying freestyle is dead, etc.
The reason I'm bringing up this topic (even though it probably was brought up before) is because I'm wondering if anyone has a story to tell about a family member, relative or friend who always had something negative to say about freestyle.
Now I know someone like myself shouldn't listen to what other people say 'cause it's only words, but sometimes it's always the same people who have something smart to say over and over again to the point it really gets annoying.
'Cause it's one thing to have a opinion about what someone listens to but it's damn right disrespectful to insult the music someone loves and was raised on.
And from my experience, most of those people who I've known and came across who insult the music are those who listen to mainsteam music like hip-hop, reggaeton, rock, etc.
So anyway ... does anyone have a story to share on this topic?
