Why do so called "artist" feel the need to try and bring another down I mean whats the basis whats the point specially when they themselves arent doing anything lucrative for the Genre. It kills me how they can sit there and talk so much shit about another artist and have no where near as much respect or accomplished as them. Its easier to try and play someone out there mouths then support and uplift whats left of Freestyle. Sad aint it.
 
I don't know. Maybe they're are jealous. I always thought since Freestyle wasn't as popular & the singers aren't as famous ..then maybe they'll be nicer ...I'm starting to learn that some of them are not nice. But I dont care I just wont support them anymore..They're lose not mines.
 
Although many, and probably the majority of Freestyle artists are very down to earth kool people, - YES, - there are a few that are NOT nice at all.
It's Unfortunate, really.
 
I think it's the same in any genre of music.

Madonna, Janet, Mariah, and Whitney all talked about each other at different times.

Rappers are bad mouthing each other.

David Lee Roth and Sammy Hagar had a public fued going on.

Yea but to me it makes no difference what major artist like Mariah. MJ etc say abotu each other they get worldwide hype everybody knows who they are none of there genres are underground I say underground because compared to any other genre thats what FS is. So for artist to be mouthing off about each other when noone outside FS noone knows them is pretty shitty considering they aint high up on the music industry ladder to be putting anyone down. Thats why so many real and I mean real as in dont **** around artist leave and have left the scene the BS is tiring. You got real artist with real hearts who dont need to put noone down they humble people then you got those and there are more of those then anything always talking shit. As I said sad as hell. No support for one another any other genre no matter what theres support maybe not with the people they talking shit about but they do keep there genres alive.

Because they do not have the self-confidence and self-respect that they need in order to accomplish things in this life. Instead, they'd rather use negative tactics to try and get by - but that eventually does backfire. It may not backfire now, but it will backfire when we least expect it, and when we least expect it is when we so want to be the fly on that wall to see the shit hit the fan. The hilarious part of it all is, some of the artists are not as big as, say Ciara, or Bow Wow, etc., and they have the nerve to act like they are all high and mighty. Bow Wow and Ciara don't have to act like that in order to make it. So these artists who are jealous (whoever they are) are not accomplishing anything by being annoying little immature brats. Like I said before, they are most likely the same has-beens (and I call them that because they are mean) who are mean to their fans.

I doubt some left because of those reasons lol Some of them don't have it in them anymore and their lastest achievements was not strongly embraced as their orginal work. 😉 Not only that some of these REAL artists I'm positive are not that innocent. :aangel

Sticks and stones will break my bones but words will never hurt me? So they are weak artists! Don't be weak be strong be superman...let the words fly over you baby. 😉 That's the way it is in this world if you let others guide you to the ground you are getting nowhere. Actions speaks louder than words so if you make good music it speaks in volumes. Which is all that should matter in the first place; over anything or anyone trying to get in your way and put you down.

Those people that talk shit you just need to switch your mind mute button. 😀
 
No the BS talking may not be the only reason why they left this genre but I can guarantee you it all got tiresome and ridiculous and they more then had it in them and fo sho still do to a lot at least those I speak too. Your right sticks and stones and they fo sho aint stressing the BS said cause in there faces its all smiles but as a person who was a big follower of the genre it has gotten pathetic. I dont nwo what you men by weak artist but Ican assure you no artist who steps away from this genre is weak far from it actually it takes a lot to walk away from something that opened yor doors but more so to have fellow artist and so called fans shit on your very work so to use those words is pretty fuked up cause the only weak artist are those who feel the need to talk shit about other artist out there striving to make shit happen. I pt this thread up cause of shit I see and shit that I am told not cause a artist is crying or stressing anything said just an observation an more proof that there is no support foreach other and those very few that do arent commnded for it.

Angie what I mean by weak artists is being weak minded. Letting shit get to you, words or people that hate. We all encounter such nonsense. Seriously is it hard to put them on your ignore list (not forum ignore list but mind ignore list lol)? That's what I meant along with sticks and stones lol

I know what you mean when you say they helped pave the way for others...there is truth in that I guess; even though I wish that they would chime on websites and talk to their fans that also helped pave the way for them by buying their music and going to their shows supporting them. 😉 Fans should get what they deserve. No fans...no artist lol

It kinda hurts me how some freestyle fans want to know about them but they hide in the shadows...that sux. But because of the bullshit that goes on behind the scenes and in their personal life everyone that dedicated their love to them will not get to know of their latest status. Have you notice Angie how many read...but don't write? Why? Nevermind it's because they busy lol Let's leave it at that.

But the reality is that this is the same type of behavior you will get with any other type of music genre.

I wish there was stronger unification...perhaps we would have been listening to more greater hits...but that's the way it is in the music business.

I guess in the meantime hopefully perhaps; these new school artists will gear the music we so much love to a more positive direction and not care of all that bullshit that does not benefit positive energy.
 
So far all the artist that I had the pleasure singing with have been very nice and a pleasure to sing with, I aint perfect but I am nice to those who deserve to be nice to!,
