Who you think Has "IT"... to become the NEXT Freestyle Great..& lead the way????

Although she's old school... she's still young enough to be on top...
Lil Suzy

Also:
Elissa
Zoe
Nick Colon
Maurizio

:blah

If Lil' Suzy continues on the same path that she has been on for the last 4 or 5 years, she will be a "has-been" very soon. Already, she hasn't released a decent song since her LIFE GOES ON album in 1995.

Although, I haven't heard any of Elissa's stuff since I bought the 12" single for "SAY GOODBYE" a few years ago, as I can recall - most of her stuff sounds the same and revolves around "Planet Rock" loops.

I've never heard Zoe.

Maurizio has never impressed me.

Nick Colon has the potential to become a future Freestyle legend. His passion, emotion and vocal abilities are very similar to the King himself, George LaMond.

Rhoq you NEED to check out Zoe's stuff.... go see her website.. & soon you'll have her new single "live w/o out you" as a download here at CF.
Elissa is a talented songwriter & singer. check out "who's crying now" or " the light" (she has alot more)

As far as Suzy goes.... she's got the whole package talent wise... I don't know if its just the people around her are wrong... & not getting it done.
you do have a point though.. something new & hot from Suzy needs to come soon... BUT that can not take away what she has already done!
Nick has the potentia to be in a league all his own!

i say zoe.... 🙂 but thats cuz shes the best

i also believe that elissa and freda have wut it takes too tamra and dimi also if they had more exposaure

I think a few people have it...if given the opportunity:

Latin Nation
Victor Vega
Poze
Synthia Figueroa
Marisol

Randi (FreestyleGal)

WOW THANK YOU SO MUCH GUYS.
I DON'T KNOW WHAT ELS TO SAY BUT THAT I ONLY HOPE I CAN CONTINUE TO MAKE GOOD MUSIC THAT EVERYONE CAN ENJOY.
AND YOUR KIND WORDS ARE MUCH APPRECIATED
ONCE AGAIN THANK YOU 🙂

well I would really have to say CERES.. although she's got an accent, she's got a nice voice and a great style.

Also I gotta agree with Lil Suzy and Elissa... those two ladies are on top in my heart already!!

Zoe is getting there. this girl is just talented all together... not only she's great to listen to, she's also a nice person, something not too many artists have.

I also gotta say I would love for Joee to be up there... but it seems that he's flowing away from the freestyle scene into dance/euro.

I wanna hear more of Angel Mena, JL, Fred Nice and Nick Colon.. and my very own Maurizio.

I Would LOVE to see Lil' Suzy & Nick Colon make it to the top, especially by exploring new sounds, & releasing a video.

I really thought Suzy's "I Still Love You" had the Pop-Rock potential to expose her to a wider audience, as well as probably sign her to a big label. But it never had a chance. & a Maxi shoulda been released of the song feat "House" Diva Crystal Waters, "Love Letter Lost".

Both Nick & Lil' Suzy are hott young Latin stars that have the talent & potential to be big artists. (& by that I mean MTV)

With the right producers & promotion, & releasing R&B/Latin Pop songs, but having Dance/Freestyle on the album or the B-side of a single, will catch todays audience,
& introduce them to Freestyle, & prob open doors, not just for the music, but for themselves.

It will work.
It's just with who & when.

Anoher artist im DYING to see explode is D'Luna (former lead singer of The China Dolls).
Her voice is strong, unique, & sensual.

& She's sexy, talented, dances, she's proffessional, & has a hyper-funny "MAD-TV"-style sick-sense of humor! She's a people person & whenever possible, joins in with the fans & hangs out.
She's the total package!

I don't think anyone will. I can't see there being an artist (of freestyle descent. lol) that would just be huge and get national exposure. There doesn't seem to be a demand for these artists. You know something's up when even the legends decide to move on! But the music (in sound) will always be around. There will be pop artists (Madonna, Justin Timberlake, Daniel Bedingfield) that will incorporate the sound. R&B stars that flip their tracks with a bass remix for the clubs(Ginuwine, Jennifer Lopez, Destiny's Child). The sound will stay but the pioneers will get left behind, which is nothing new.

totally zoe, not elissa. (she had her 15 minutes of fame during the summer rush 2000 when back to me was still fresh out of the recording studio) same with lil suzy, she's had her magical teenage days already as well. freda - maybe, and same with a lot of the german artists / groups like the unit.

Still a chance for ANY artist from Freestyle descent (Lil' Suzy/ Nick Colon/ Safire)
if they were having songs produced by peeps like: Neptunes/N.E.R.D., Tony Moran, Timbland, Jermaine Dupri, Jellybean, etc, etc, etc. PLUS, MTV expoure???
They WILL have success!

If they get into the same formula & production teams as 3LW, Justin, Daniel Bedingfield, Marc Anthony, J-Lo, Enrique, etc. It will all go into place.
Definately.

Nick colon IS DOPE and all the hard work and dedication is paying off for him and the people behind him! I Love his stuff *2 thumbs up* I would also love to see POZE amongst the ranks of GL, STEVIE, CORO and many more established artists and given more time I'm sure he would. But It's understandable why he decided to retire from the business but I would love to see him back one day with alot more passion in his voice!

BTW has anyone heard from him and or know differently?

I would pick Ceres, Freida, & D'luna.

For comeback artist, I would definitely pick Gioia. She's got the looks, moves and vocal chords!

Nah nah, don't get it twisted, I am still a big fan of this sound. I luv it. I was just listening to some old school last weekend (I got a new system in my car, the bass is off the hook!). It's just that it's been about 10 years since someone has been really big in this music. What would all of a sudden change now? There have been many songs that are more than good and that had mass appeal. But if people don't know about it, it ain't gettin bought, heard, requested on the radio, played in the clubs, or blasted from street corners. Yeah Timbaland or the Neptunes are a sure shot but do u know how much it would probably cost to enlist them for just one track? Could a freestyle artist afford that? Or would they want to?
