oK Sorry If This Is In The Wrong section...This Is A Freestyle Subject So Thats Why It's Here 😀
Anyway...
The People Who You Decide On Saying You Want On Making A Comeback Have To Have Explanations. Don't Just Say A Name Ok?

Here We Go...

I Have A Few In Mind From Tazmania...But Were Gonna Talk About OLD SKOOL Here So Here It goes...

CLEAR TOUCH - This Group Was Just Dynamic. Angel Eyez * The Lead Singer * Was Amazing...Could Belt Out Notes Like No One Else.
Thier Whole Album Was Slammin,And Thier Hits " Fallen Angel & Surrender Your Love " Were Just Off the Wall When They Hit HOT97.
Definately A Group Who Stood Out...Sad That They Broke Up And Went Thier Ways.

And My 2nd Group Is...

NAS-T-BOYZ = Thier Hits " What I'm Feeling,Intimate Strangers And The Search " Just Off The Wall Songs.
The Beats,Lyrics,Everything About them. Definately Songs U Can Listen To Over And Over Without Getting Bored. And Definately Songs That Remind You Of The Summertime Rocking The Z.Cavaricci's And 8 BALL Jackets With The D.A. Hair Cuts And The Aqua Net Hair Styles.

These Are 2 Groups That In My View,If They Came Back Out Now? And Did What They Did Back Then? I Think They Would Give " TKA ":tka
A Run For Thier Money...But Then Again...T.K.A. Are Legends...From One Way Love All The Way To Maria. they've Done it All...

But Those Are My 2 Groups That Were And Always Will Be The Sh*t...Sadly forgotten By Most,But Rememberd For Thier Songs.

Peace...

That's easy

The answer is obvious.

SWEET SENSATION

They were talented singers (i've seen them a few times, and they sang live each time) and dancers. In my opinion, the best freestyle "girl group".

Safire

I would like to see Safire cross over to R&B. Nayobe is another one I would love to hear bursting out R&B tones.

As for the OLD SKOOL , I 'd wanna see Judy Torres make a come back, I know that she on the radio all the time Djing, but she my favorite singer and hasnt had an album since 1992 and her last single was back in 98 or so --- she had some REAL good new songs she sang a few yrs back at KTU's beatstock but she said they were taken away from her - I hope she comes out with something new soon!

As for the NEW SKOOL/WESTCOAST , I wanna hear more outta Damia & Yolanda--- I know that Damia is working on new music but its not gonna be freestyle. Yolanda has a good voice she just needs some music!!

DTU - I LOVED EVERY ONE OF THEIR SONGS.....FROM BROKEN DREAMS ON TRIPODI RECORDS TO LOOK INTO MY EYES ON TAZMANIA. THEIR SONGS WERE UNIQUE, AS WERE THEIR VOCALS.TOO BAD THEY ONLY PRODUCED 6 SONGS....4 + 2 REMAKES OF THEIR OWN SONGS IN 93' AND 97'.

Elear......

I agree with you on Nas-T Boyz.
Two of the members live here in Florida, and have often talked about doing a comeback, they both also still stay in touch with the third member, so you never know..........😛

2 Chicago groups I would want to see come back is First Class, "My Sweet Rose" and L.A.W., "One More Chance", Pure Pleazure, "When Will You Come Back To Me"

First Class sings this classic song, very rare. It is so rare that some people are selling it on Ebay for over $100!

L.A.W. There have been many threads about who is better, TKA and L.A.W. In many instances, L.A.W. was better. In my mind, TKA was and still is better, when they sing freestyle. I don't some of the songs on their new album, the R & B ones. They are boring and have no pizzazz.

Pure pleazure had many hits, I don't really know, maybe over 5 at least. They were a good group putting out quality hits.

I'm with AnthonyA1971, DTU were the best. Especially with the song, "Open your eyes" and "Look into my eyes"!!!! I'd love to see them back again. I know this group, Pure Pleazure is considered New School but they are another dou that would definately make some noise for a comeback. The harmony on the songs (Bring ne back, You are the one, etc.) were fantastic. :yeey

I Swear...Im Glad 2 See Yous Have Some Good Taste Man.

Voyce And DTU WereDefately On My Mind When I Was Mentioning Nas-T-Boyz And Clear Touch. Ur right anthony...Thier Songs Were Awesome...Songs U Can Blast To The Max.

Personally...D.T.U. Was Better When They Were On Tripodi And Were Around 19. They Had So Much Force And Feeling Behind Thier Songs. When They Remade The Songs On Tazmania,They Sang Them To Mellow For My Taste. Maybe It's Just Me.

I Know That 2 Members Of The Nas-T-Boyz Still Dance.Specifically Dancing For Tito Puente Jr.
I Saw Them On One Of the Spanish Channels.
I Know That Twilo Went To R&B Or Something Like That. But I Soooo Hope To God They Bring Up The Subject Amongst Eachother To Do It 1 More Time And Come Back.

Tony Moran & N.V.

Especially N.V. 🙁

*Tapping On His Mic* Ok...Nobody's Listening To Me...*Knodding Head*

I Said " Do Not Just Put Names " U Have 2 Give Explanations For Why U Want That Specific Artist To Comeback :crap

Peace :stoned

Sebastian

Always remained my favorite artist off of Metropolitan Records. Had a deep thunderous voice that rode them freestyle melodies like a surfer ridin' the waves. A very talented voice that never got much play! I'd like to see him out there again.

Another one would be Sam Savon aka Samuel. Same deep vocals as Sebastian. Would sound good doing ANY kind of dance muzik! We need more voices like his. is Sammy C still cuttin' tracks??? He needs to make a loud comeback too!

Ok I'll elaborate...

*Jossette- one of the artists along with others like Angelina and Jocelyn Enriquez that were the reason for freestyle making a comeback on radio in the mid-late 90's. "In A Dream" was HUGE over here on the west coast, and I remember hearing her song on a big Houston, Texas station even years after it came out. She also had a newer song "Feels Good" that we played on our station that was the sh*t!

*M:G- great album, had many hit songs, has a freestyle sound that is good for radio today, also another artist who was a big part of freestyle's return in the mid-late 90's.

*Buffy- A whole album with many excellent songs, was yet another artist who helped bring back freestyle on the west coast.

*Spanish Fly- made some great songs, "Treasure of My Heart", "Running", "Vissions", "I Can See", had some of the best male vocals for freestyle songs and they made several of my favorite freestyle songs.

*Stephanie Fastro- had a west coast hit with "When I hear The Laughter" one of the best new school songs to come out during the time, I also heard some other songs by her that I don't think were ever put out, and they were off tha hook!

*Damia- some great songs came from her, "Give It To Me", "Do Your Thang", "More Than A Feeling", she had a great new school sound.

*Yolanda- "Together Forever" was the sh*t! Big hit on the west coast. I saw her perform a couple times.

I would like to see Expose, the Latin Rascals, The Cover Girls, Trinere, Will to Power, Sweet Sensation, Trilogy, Nocera, Information Society, Paris by Air, Donna Williams, Judy Torres, Pajama Party, Rios Sisters, Lisa Lisa, and Seduction make a comback, at least a brand new song.

All of these old school artists have awesome songs that seem like they only came out a few years ago.
