Well, im talkin bout TKA now and then, to me it doesnt matter, I still love em' and they still sound hot in concert....so yep, I guess so primax, why? And NJBADgirl....your right! From Maria to with out you or any other song from Tka to George is alwayssss good!

Im sorry for ur terrible experience w/ the member of TKA, (hey, y am I apologizing I didnt diss u, lol) but we all have bad days and perhaps there was more to what was going on with the group. Did u ever think that maybe the other band members sabotage him in someway. I'm not making excuses for them but sometimes we do things in our left that makes us regret what and how we acted towards others. Jesus, I took Crystal's nice post and twisted into some kinda of a pyschologial therapy group, lol. Personally, I do not care really how they treat us, They dont live w/ us, unfortunately, (we would be able 2 have them sing to us on a personal note, right ladies?) But I do remember how I felt when I first heard them play and recall who I was in love with and remember who hurt me at that time vrs. who I hurt! So therefore, I beleive that everyone would not want 2 goto a club that just keeps playing TKA all night or George Lamond. We want to dance, drink, and cry to all Freestyle music in some way..

Hello Victor.....wow, I never knew that, but I guess I wouldnt know cause when i met them...Kayal came up to me after the show to say thanks and stuff, and when he left, tony and angel came out and took a pic with me. But I guess I know what you sayin, but im not here to judge them or anything, i still love there music, and still love ANGEL! Thanks for the brwak down though...its good to know these things!

about kayel thats what i have been saying ever since him and joey gardner posted back in the freestyle nation board...everyone always comes down hard on me when i say it...i blame him for killing freestyle...if u want to blame someone blame kayel and dont forget gardner...i told u guys he was only coming back to make more money, cause he knows damn well he cant as k7!!! gardner came on the nation defending k7 but if he could sell u would have seen a lot more albums out from him...i am glad someone feels the same way i do!!!!

Yeah, well im sorry cause I kinda asked who he thought was phony in TKA, I should have not done that, but i couldnt help it cause TKA is my favorite...and still is no matter what drama they have had....lol. And I still think they are # 1, but george Lamond is also to me too! As long as they didnt stick the finger at me, im ok! But he still does have a point bout the breaking up thing, ive always known that, they shouldnt have, they still have fans.

I don't know how to start this. You were there when these things were happening to you, so therefore I can not tell you how to feel. You made some truthful statements about some of the things that happened years ago, but you were not there to see the things that would make any man come to decisions that this man did. Sure Kay did downplay the work he had done previously as a group, but as business goes he was just showing great confidence in his recent bodies of work. You may ask any artist about their most recent works as compared to what they may have done years ago, they are almost always going to say their new stuff is the best yet. You live in the present my friend not in the past. The people you knew ten years ago are not the people you know today. Everyone has to grow, and everyone has to change. Some for the good, and some go bad. Circumstances in life change everyone. K once said that he would never, ever do another TKA album. We can hold that against him or we can go party. You forgive, and you move on. I'm not even saying for fans to forget what was said, but take heed to lifes lessons. You live you learn. The fact that he is back doing TKA, shows the growth in K as an individual. Going from never, to a full blown comeback is like admitting to those past mistakes. The full length album is the apology.
I hope that one day you and him can speak about your experiences. Hopefully then, you can understand him for the person he is, and get the low down on how things happen behind the scenes. A lot of the time, because of time, every autograph doesn't get signed. Sad but true.
There was no conspiracy to break anything up. There was a decision made by four men. K7, Tony, Angel, and Joey G. to go out into the world and try something new. We all need to change. Shit happens. That was then. The focus in our camp now is different. The music is mature and it's grown up. That is a reflection of the artist who have matured and grown up. We can't undo the past, we can only make better of the present and the future. The future is now that TKA is back, Safire is back,and on and on.... there are tours being arranged, and events planned. The doors that were closed to this music are going to be re-opened and we are going to raise up a new batch of artist to live and learn and make some of the same mistakes that other artist may have made in the past. Don't hang them for mistakes, but love them for learning and bringing you the hot shit.

Well, I'm glad TKA is back. I really don't care what was said in the past. To me, it's all about the present and the future. I'm not going to dwell in the past and hold shit against them. Cuz no matter what was said, it doesn't undermine the fact that their music is and has always been special to me. You can't take that away from them. I love their music and look forward to more if it, freestyle or not. 🙂

wow! i didnt know all that stuff about Kayel. but its kool. i think everyone does have their days. it does piss u off a little as a fan. but at tha same time a lotta things can be happening that tha artist isnt happy with that we dont know about, and they can have attitudes. i havent met any freestyle peeps so far =(, but i met Mariah Carey once. she kinda acted like she didnt wanna be bothered. but she seemed kinda pissed off anyways. i still like her music though, who knows what was up that day! maybe i'll get to meet her again and things could be totally different. i think it just comes down to "everyone has their days"!

i think thats also tru that artists do sometimes downplay tha stuff they did in tha past to make their new stuff sound better (especially if their more proud of it).

but tha post was very intresting @Victor. peace bro!!!

Just a little note

Even though the drama is over I just have to say that I think that K7 did have a problem with an ego. Ive seen TKA perform with Tony kayel and Aby (at my high school back in the late 80's and while I said hi to aby and tony they acknowledged me and kayel looked annoyed that I even spoke to him). Then it was Tony and Angel for a long while and I was like dang what happened to Kayel? I knew about k7 and the swing kids and never heard from that group again. So naturally I thought that kayel retired from Freestyle. Now with this quote of his that I read on the forum about "bubble gum" music I was surprised cuz he's performing freestyle again. Amazing. He doesnt seem conceited now. I guess he became humbled.

P.S. Pleeze I'm not trying to stir things up I just came in all late. Thats all😀 😱
