BEFORE THERE'S ANYMORE CONFUSION...I JUST GOT OFF THE

AS MUCH AS KAY, HIMSELF WOULD LIKE TO HAVE THE NAME CHANGED
TO ~TKG~...FOR OBVIOUS REASONS T (TONY) K (KAY) G (GEORGE)..
THE GUYZ HAVE DECIDED THAT DUE TO THE LENGTHLY "TRADEMARK"
THAT ~TKA~ HAS HAD FOR OVER 17 YRS, IT IS THE NAME THE FANS
HAVE GROWN TO KNOW AND LOVE & SUPPORT AND THE NAME EVERYONE
IN THE BUSINESS RECOGNIZES!

SO WITHOUT ANYMORE FUSS.
THEY ARE, & SHALL ALWAYS REMAIN...T K A!

ugh god i need to vent on this...saying lamond replaced angel is really f*cked up cause lamond is ABOVE THAT, WAY ABOVE THAT!!!! i cant believe they are just going by tka...not tka featuring lamond...geeezzz and can i have my first question answered...so are they just doing clubs as tka or is there an album or single in the works...wow how sickening...i've BEEN trying to keep my mouth shut on this...but i can not anymore
 
really what about all the years and fans lamond has under his belt...he just loses it to the name TKA...i mean come on now, what is up with this...someone tell me this isnt wacky...what type of state are our singers in right now...i mean forget the state of freestyle cause we all know freestyle is practically shot to hell...but look at our singers...i mean what is behind this...is it really cause they want to combine thier talents...or is it something like a lack of interest on the fans part???? REALLY come on now like that hasnt shot through everybodys head

The demand to book ,TKA is always there, therefore they
peform in clubs, venues, festivals, etc. For now, doing the material,
that we all know, tka songs, george lamond songs, k7 songs.

I came on here in august or sept with the mention that, YES... there IS AN
ALBUM(CD) IN PROGRESS...........IT'S ACTUALLY JUST ABOUT DONE!
As of right now, the title will be ~A New Day~. They will release a single,
I believe may be ~What's the Scenario~...And is estimated to be released
in March! They were even here in Chicago, in the studio 2wks ago still doing
some final vocals! I've mentioned before, that I have had the priviledge to hear
5 of the songs, and I was IMPRESSED...but like I've told Kay yesterday, my
opinion may not count to anyone, because I'm like family. But, frankly, if it
wasn't good, I would tell them, I've told Kay already, WHAT, I thought it
needed, but then of course it's not my call, it's theirs! Regardless, the MUSIC
is GREAT, they SOUND GREAT! This album will have flavor for all!

George is unlike any other, he's A One & Only, untouchable! He's talented all around! No matter what he DOES, or DOESN'T DO, or WHO HE DOES IT WITH, it does not RUIN HIM, he does not LOSE ANYTHING? How Amazing and Talented is this Man, that HE CAN DO ANYTHING! No Matter WHAT he DOES, he's only making himself Better Each Time HE DOES SOMETHING NEW! It's not just, what he has under his belt, it's that, and everything else he keeps accomplishing! As long as he's alive and has his voice, he is blessed for whatever may come his way!
He will Always be George LaMond, and NO ONE OR NOTHING, CAN TAKE THAT AWAY FROM HIM!
That is his legendary Trademark, if you will, as TKA is theirs! The more they do, the more diverse they are in their careers, the more they better themselves in this biz. It's not just about what they did, it's about what they'll continue to do!
 
I think the name of the group really doesn't matter as much as what the music winds up sounding like. I think it would be a huge boost for freestyle if they give the fans what they want which is some new freestyle. I really hope this doesn't turn into another "Forever" album. That was simply heartbreaking.
 
you know what. i've read through all the comments on this topic. i can't believe that bs that is here. i love tka and i love george. personally, i am not as lucky as all of u. i live in michigan......U ALL HEAR THAT, MICHIGAN! there is no freestyle here. i was blessed by the fact george and collage came to detroit a few months ago and i got to watch george perform 4 songs. so much talk about the name and will it sound good? give me a break. CAN ANYONE COME UP WITH A BAD GEORGE LAMOND SONG OR TKA SONG? cause i sure can't. freestyle is shot anyway, maybe something like this will pump some blood back into it. i wish them all the best of luck. all i know, is if their cd finds its way to good old michigan, i'll be the first one in line. and if not....maybe they will be kind enough to give me the website to order one. anyway, i'm out, but i hope george and tk read this. I WISH U ALL THE BEST WITH ALL MY HEART. I LOVE FREESTYLE, I ALWAYS WILL. AND IF YOU GUYS GET BORED DOING SHOWS IN NY, COME TO DETROIT!!!!!!!!

one more thing, if george is not concerned with the recognition, then why the hell should we be? i'm sure everyone who knows anything about freestyle knows he's part of the group. and no he won't lose his fans. i don't care if new kids on the block made a return to the boy band scene and george was the back up singer waving his hands singing.....oooo ooooh ooooh ooooooh ooooooh........hangin tough!.......i'd still love him and i'd go to the concert with my
"i love george" sign!

(lol, hopefully some of u remember that group.....and that damn song)

i was wondering about all the tkg stuff too. thanks for explaining, everyone, but let me get this straight is GL still a solo artist in addition to being a new member of tka, or is he just committed to that group only?
