I think no, why? Cause it'd be romantic to cook for your girl/wife when you're a man. Plus think about it, when you've left your house, as in moved out of your parents place and on your own, you gotta learn to cook, clean etc. It's nice to do something for your "better half" once in a while, I'm not saying the guy should be a housewife or anything, but it's not bad to cook/clean once in a while.
 
by nature, women can handle those things better that guys. But there are exceptions.
 
there shouldn't be one that does everything, hey i wouldn't complain if my betterhalf did all the cooking and cleaning, but i cook and clean now so i don't see a problem with me continuing that and i do a good job if i say so myself. There has to be a happy median and eluder is right about the romantic part, maria if a guy offered to make you a romantic dinner for two would you say NO?😉

Women may be better but some of the most famous chefs are male (ex Emeril)
 
sorry jack i wouldn't go that far, that's just wierd. But whats wrong with making a romantic dinner, what's wrong with makeing a non-romantic dinner? Who really says a girl has to be in the kitchen what if she sucks at cooking are you going to starve or eat really bad food so you don't have to cook?
 
i agree both men and women can both handle the kitchen

but when ur talking about my parents

(basically the way she wants "HER" kitchen) then i BEST BE GETTEN "Momma's Home Cooked Meals" 3 times daily!!!!

I have to go with the bronzed adonis... I want MY kitchen and MY house done the way I want it. Why? So my husband can go make a mess in there? No thank you. I think a woman should have the CHOICE to stay home or go to work. If I get that choice I want to stay home and do the cooking and cleaning and all that other "fun" stuff (we'll send the laundry out), BUT only after we have kids. Before we have kids I want to work, otherwise I would get bored. If my husband wants to cook for me once in a while that's wonderful, but I would settle for help with the dishes after I make dinner. I'm not saying men are bad cooks, in fact my dad is an AMAZING cook, but it's still my mom's kitchen and when he's in there cooking he's only visiting. 😛 As for the cleaning I wouldn't expect him to do the cleaning just don't make a mess, and if i need help when we have company coming I don't see a problem with him running the vacuum for me or something. Otherwise, just sit at the kitchen table and keep me company while I cook, maybe even come up and give me a kiss! 😉

things in life for some could be alot worse/difficult perhaps paralysed for some that they can't even drive period....
