Definitely George Lamond. Put out hit after hit and is very loyal to his fans. And his voice is like no other. He can sing any tune he desires. He also sings better live than on the records. In most artists case, it's vice-versa.
He also blew up the salsa scene too with his hardcore salsa "que te vas" and a string of other hits which no other freestyle artist has done. I am very proud because he represents me. I'm a latino from the north eastside.

Kings:

The Latin rascals. They were the men behind the music of most of these frestyle songs we all know and love. They're no doubt, gifted and talented. Most of these artists would've been nothing if it weren't for them. Not to mention the fact that they inspired many producers to cook up these well known classics we all know today as well. Thats why they are the kings to me. Even today, Tony Moran shows alot of enthusiasm and wisdom when it comes to music. He's still up there even after 3 decades. Show's the same love and passion for music. Nothings changed.

GEORGE is true traditional FREESTYLE,STEVIE B is very POP FREESTYLE,which is why I believe GEORGE is so loved,plus his vocals are of the hook!!!!!!!!
 
this is a tough one becus i got 3 top players...stevie b== this man is a hardcore freestyler keeps putting out music,. george===excellent singer, excellent music, and of course there is TKA===not much i can say that is not known already! With 2 albums and Maria they made history..they came back with a new sound that in my opinion and many others as well was great music, k7 when he did swing he still put a little freestyle flavor in that with Body rock(one of my all time favorites)...thats my 3
