I dont know how you exactly spell it...

but damien the freestyle artist was a artist out of miami.

he had a hit called "latin Lover Girl" around the early 90's that was pop on power 96 and other stations around the country that suported freestyle in that time period.

latin lover girl was a record infused with lil latin rythms and some spanglish, about a guy talking about how he found his "latin lover girl". Damien performed many shows through out the region......one of his bigest and last major radio shows in miami was at the cop aid benifit open air concert show in hieleah (in 93 0r 94) thrown by power 96 and featured other performances by DJ laz, cristine W, coro, Jocelyn Enriquez for her First miami apearance (threw it down in spanish for "ive been thinking about you" and "Make this last forever") and the only major miami radio show were both Nysaia and George Anthony singing together for "Take me away".

I beleive funky frank had something to do with the production also and other peeps from power 96. its ben so long.

since then, damien hasnt really had anything that has gone big.

I was told he was seen in a club 3 weeks ago,hanging out, by another singer (onnie of detour). Onnie said that when he mentioned "latin lover girl" to damien, the responce was that of a duck and hide, like he was ashamed to have had a freestyle record out.

many people try to hide from their past, even though some try to remeber them.

My Name is Brian Silvers and I represent Damien, I just want to set the record straight. Damien never said that he is Adam Marano he was supposed to have been performing TPE's songs under new production for promotional use only he has never gone on Stage stating that he is Adam Marano. so people get your story straight and stop trashing Damien's name other wise this will resolve in court and ClubFreestyle will be held liable for this mess. he is not saying he is marano...but it is advertised to have been in tpe...now what part did he have in tpe mr. Silvers...since u are his attorney u can clear that up for us

...But by performing under the name TPE, isn't your client implying he is Adam Marano???

Instead of threatening lawsuits, shouldn't you be worrying about the fact your client is performing copyrighted material without the authorization of Viper Records???

Damien was suppsed to be promoted as "DAMIEN" not TPE the promoters got their story and Artist all messed up. and the only way that you will be slandering an Artist is by performing the original music and re-record it without Authorization is illegal. if that was the case then there would be lawsuits everyday due to the fact that there are people out there recording demos to be shopped around and get picked up by a Label. however the artist that is recording thses demos must give full acknowledgment to it's orginal Writers and producers so therefor the artist recording this demo does NOT need any permission to record this demo unless he is going to release it heor she either goes through the Harry Foxx Agency or through the producers themselves.
