well I wouldn't expect changes on 1 & 2 from the Catholic church but music? Things do change since the Bible was first written thousands of years ago and you would think they would be a little more lenient about some modern things (as long as the song wasn't condoning murder or Satanism LOL)

I too have heard the new pope is ultra-conservative. We'll see if he maintains his stance on the priests getting married. As soon as he starts to deal with the sex abuse scandal, he might change his tune. If you think about it, I believe one or more of the apostles were married. It was just a rule that was made during the middle ages I believe because priests were leaving all their money to wives and children, instead of the church...and no disrespect to the new pope, but I think he seems a bit scary, something in his eyes...

Oh great, now everytime I hear the pope's name I'm gonna be hearing "eggs benedict" instead of Pope Benedict...
