There's a group called Expose that I've never had the pleasure of seeing live, though... 🙁 🙁

BRENDA is a very successful SALSA diva with about5 salsa cds and a greatest hits salsa dvd,she ocasionally come out with english dance songs on coms andmaxi singes like "HOLD ME".And yes her vesion of"I STLL BELIEVE" is still the best, she sings with such emotion, she definitly is a great artist, her first salsa cd has an off the hook english ballad which was probably meant for the fans.

I know she was driving her jeep around manhattan once in 1996 after a KTU show! right, ScotMan? 😉
Hey Slim...Good thing I'm careful what I tell you in confidence!!! LOL, sorry I barely remember that night!

Mariah Carey's version and that of Brenda K's can't even be compared. Bottom line.

If you were to hear Mariah's version sung live, she has that shit sounding as if you were somewhere magical. She worked that song like she wrote it note for note.

Brenda's version is just as great, except for the fact that it was recorded in a totally different decade (1987), which makes the quality of the vocals less appealing.

However, I love both versions.

like i said no disrespect to mariah carey, she has a voice that no one can compare to, but in my personal opinion brenda k sang the song with more heart, no matter what decade... but i respect your opinion (so dont get me wrong)

I have to agree with Imonterrey, Mariah does have a beautiful voice, one of the best, but I have always loved Brenda K's version much better.
