Wow my thoughts exactly Mic Mac was # 1 with me. As soon as I started buying freestyle records I knew to look for the mic mac label. I'd walk in and swear to GOD I wouldnt even look at the artist except to see if i had that one already Id just buy it cuz i new it would be good. Then who could forget cutting records i did the same thing with them I'd just look for the circular buzzsaw design and I'd pick it up. Sleeping bag and Fever were definately hot.

Sleeping Bag had some pretty damn good singles and artists like Hanson & Davis, Nocera, Ann Marie, & my favorite Raiana Paige. Fever was pretty much the dominant force of Freestyle before Micmac came along. Fever had The Cover Girls, Tomax, Sandee, Nayobe, even Lil' Suzy, and later on Lisette Melendez. I would say those two were very influential labels for freestyle.

beside metro/ mic mac/ cutting all were good lables i really love WISE GUY ..liason. hiedi mathus, angela rene, Jesse...... I love AFTER DARK RECORDS JOIE MAE PROMISE ME YOUR HEART, BETHANY, NINA BENA, MILAN, RON ESCO.......

PKO records was really good for old school freestyle as well as HIGH POWER ........very early Classified records with heaven, jocelyn enriquez, DAMIEN.... I give credits for TAZ....
