What's the difference between..

the meaning of "Remix", "Remake" and "Remastered"?

I know as a long time fan (of all music for that matter) I should know, but when it comes to Freestyle, I get confused..

Can someone please clarify for me? 🙂

remake is a completely new version of a song....... like a cover version of it sorta........ the Cover Girls remade "Wishing On A Star" originaly done by Rose Royce........

remix is when u take the actual vocal (and other elements of the remixer's choosing) and create an alternate version of the song......... BT's "Simply Being Loved" has a freestyle version & a house version

remastered is when u take the actual recording of the song & put it thru analog or digital processing to liven it up & make it sound fresh.... 🙂

remix is when a music producer, remixes the original vesion of a song(the original artist might even throw extra vocals to make the remix better)
remake is the original song sung by the artist or new one with different beats/music or the same song sung by another artist.

remastered is the original version in higher quality resolution(meaning better quality of equipment,than the ones they had at the time)
FREESTYLE is the same as any genre of music, remix/remake/remastered all mean the same in genre.
