oh no no no NYC is NOT overrated.....I love that city will always be home to me even tho I don't reside there anymore. I've been to other cities as well but just the views and the actual life in this city are amazing. Miami isn't too far behind as far as city beauty goes........dont' knock it til u been there 😉
 
Many different cities, they all have their splendor, beauty and charm but there is no place like NYC!

Great choice. Yes, except for GoGo music and Jazz and the love for Urban and Adult/Modern Rock, DC is a music wasteland. But we are a great city to live in. We are starting to become very diversed(mainly inside The beltway). Yes for years the rest of The US thought of DC as being too political, to squared and yes...too black. DC is a fun place to live, lots of great nightlife, and great resturants. I tell people; except for us being the Nations Capital; in a way: DC, Philly and Boston are in a some shape or form the same city. All there is getting too expensive to live in.

like safe, friendly people, multicultural, great night life, great shopping, cultural stuff, music scene, overall good quality of life..

I picked DC cuz it's the only one that i know just as well as NYC...with the exception of Cancun

i like toronto they have those different areas of the city with a differnt culture there, but its all mixed and you can get different kinds of food. i went to the indian area and eat some curry, then the greek area and ate that wrap sandwich thing, then the italian area, korean area, hispanic area, portugues area, etc. food totally delicious, it was cool, like the worlds expo. :cheers
