im 26 and i remember in 1986 freestyle was starting to make noise on power 96 in miami but i really got into it the following year 1987, thats when sh*t blew up and our music was all over the place! i remember my mom catching me dancing on front of the t.v. to the cover girls video "show me"....i was so embarrased lol

I'm 25 now, but since 1986 I remember listening to the groovy keyboard and synth rythms. In the back (forcebly confined via the help of 2 seat-belts, I shoulda been called BRAT-BOY) of my cousins trans-ams, hanging out at the local variety store, when freezzies only cost a nickel!! *Sniff* ahh fond memories !!!🙂
 
i remember my uncle playing freestyle in the car when i was younger in the late eighties. But i got really into it about two years ago.
 
i was first introduced to freestyle by some friends in 1990 or 1991 and have been a huge fan ever since- age now is 24

wow.....do i feel old!!!! 1983 was the year for me!!! 91 was the year "freestyle" was mentioned in my ears!! i remember the first time i heard that word to descibe the music. i was in doubt about the new name.

MY COUSIN WAS DATING HER NOW HUSBAND AND HE HAD A TOYOTA SUPRA, THAT SAID "SILVER BULLET" ON THE BACK.

ALL HE PLAYED WAS JUDY TORRES AND HAD ALOT OF COMPLIATION TAPES IN HIS CAR.

THEN AFTERWARD WAS WHEN HOT 97 PLAYED FREESTYLE FREQUENTLY.

1982-83 since the begining - let the music play, One more shot, honey to a bee - the were my favorite songs when the came out right along with all the Michael Jackson thriller stuff
