What year did you start listening to freestyle?

I know I am going out on a limb by asking this, but I am just curious what year you started listening to freestyle and what is your age?

I am 26 and have been listening to freestyle since 1988!

well, it all depends on what you declare FREESTYLE. if you say SHANNON, then i started listening to FREESTYLE in 1983 . i was in 6th grade and that song was DA BOMB!!

I liked freestyle in the late 80's, but I didn't realize it was freestyle. I just liked the music. I actually started getting into freestyle in 1992.

The farthest back i can remember listenin to freestyle was when i was 7 years old... 1994.. still remember the song Distant Heart by George Lamond🙂

Since I was 7 in 1987 when we jsut called it "club" music, Though i became a hardcore fan in 1991 when i was 12. Im now 21.

Gee, you guys make me feel old. I am 33 and to me, Freestyle hit in a big way back in '87. I was in Monterey, CA at the time and the station, KDON, played freestyle all the time with hits like...Summertime, Summertime, Come Go With Me, Perfect Lover (Company B), Last Chance (Cyre), For Tonight (Nancy Martinez), Hooked on you, Victim of love, Show Me, Fascinated, Silent Morning, Point of no return, Catch me I'm falling, They're playing our song, etc etc. Those were the days!!
