Monique - Pat's has our CDs already. They have had them for almost 2 months now (I think you'll love them)!!!

🙂

I see that alot people are looking for the New stuff. Unfortunately it seems that a lot of the new is promo-only or released on MP3 now-a-days. Labels just don't seem to have the money for a full release...

anyone know how i can get the second version of give your love to me? i dont even know how to go about looking for it. 🙁

HELP!

I'm interested in getting the "GIVE YOUR LOVE TO ME" demo version as well. It has always been my favorite TKA song. I am hoping that Kayel can give us some info on how to get a copy of it!

Yeah, which reminds me, I have to stop by there tomorrow and see how well or bad they are selling.

I think you should make a compilation with all the weak ass House mixes of all the Freestyle songs of 89-91.

Remember when every Freestyle producer thought they could be just like Lil' Louis Vega, and started to do their own House mixes for every release, and remember how crappy they sounded?!?

LMAO @ Jason - yeah Metropolitan was probably the worst when it came to crappy House mixes...

The House CD is not a bad idea.

The best House mixes of any Freestyle song were always the ones where the producers had the artist re-record the vocals for the house mix. Also the best tracks were the ones where they changed the music entirely and did more than just add the cheesy "House Piano From Hell"...

The same old shit is fine. But please, different artists. I have a better idea, how about a compilation with some shit that has never been accessable to us, like Freestyle that was hot back in the mid to late 80's from the West Coast (Cali.), the South (Texas and Florida), the East (Massachusetts and New York), and the North (Canada). But please, give Cynthia, Lil' Suzy, Judy, & the Cover Girls a !@#$%^& break! Doesn't everyone have those artists by now?!

TKA demo version

I just wanted to let you know that I have heard the version that K7 is referring to.....and I must say that it is dope.
A close friend has it and when he let me hear it, I was floored. The dope part was when they went back and fourth doing adlibs. Marc Anthony ripped it of course but I have to give it to Chrissy. She came on the mic and ripped it. She came on and did the adlib she does on "You should know by Now" and it was phat. I have tried repeatedly to get a copy, but my friend said if he gives a copy out they will know who gave it out. So to this day it remains in his closet of many unreleased projects, never to be heard again.🙂

That's too bad....however, everyone should respect the decision not to let it out. You let it out to one, you let it out to all! lol

Something new!

I think these new freestyle compilations, shouldn't include hard to find songs, but instead, new material. They should have recordings producers throughout the country. I'm talking about them outting quality stuff, and not the garbage that Freestyle has been putting out lately. They should also make the songs a decent length, like around the size of a mixshow edit (5-7 minutes), and have 12-15 tracks on a CD.

Sincerely Yours,
Kevin

The bootleg from Anaïs records has been only pressed in few copies. It never released officially in France...even if TKA, at this time, was known in my country. Yep, Freestyle music (I mean Latin Hip-Hop) was know in the 90s even in France. LOL. Not anymore.

If you're looking for some rare stuff from TKA, one of my friend here in France did a wonderful multi-edits medley. I think the members of TKA heard it. I sent a copy to Joey Gardner a long time ago. For unkown reasons, this medley hasn't been released. Too bad for the fans, because this medley was off the hook...believe me.
I think this medley was available on Audiogalaxy.

Laterz,

Francis
