ok what pop or any style of music artists for that matter..can u see pulling off a freestyle track and WHICH track would u like tosee them try....
u can do this 2 ways...name a pop or any artist and a freestyle track you'd like to see them try......

Maybe u feel that there's an artist out their that can pull off freestyle and actually make a second career out of it....

I think Christina Aguleria(never do i spell her name right) giving good song and beats to work with can pull off a freestyle track....she is cheesy pop right nowww but u can't take away from her strong vocals.....she is dramatic enuff for the job.....

I would still have to say Jennifer Lopez. I dont know she just has that freestyle voice. Like in "Waiting for tonight" her voice sounds so real, so raw.😀

my picks for artists

well i think JLo could probably pull it off, maybe. Her latest song, play my song or whatever it is... is kind of a rip off of "Last night a DJ stole my life" atleast that's what i thought when i heard it.

The only problem is JLo tries to play all rough and tough, that is not what a freestyle female artist is about. Female freestylers are about love and mushy stuff, i don't want a gangsta singing about love. That rules out all female rappers, that rules out pink cause she is what we call a pastie. She has an identity crisis. And as for desitny's child, they have great voices but when the are singing about "bubbaliscious" and how they rip off "survivor" they are sell outs. richer than me for sure, but oh well.

i think maybe Jessica Simpson could probably pull it off, great voice, sweet cullo tiso tiso, ahhh what every boy wants for christmas... i mean to sing freestyle.

as for bands.. hmm maybe nsync, because they are posers and they already try and look like ginos with their frosted spike hair.

truthfully, if you never did freestyle as an artist and don't live the life then it would never work, you can't have the best of all worlds. There is always an overpowering part of you that leans to a certain style. Me, it's to freestyle and dance music, that's what i listen to the most and it takes over you. The way you dress, the way you walk like a human, and not like you were born with a limp. I may listen to the occassion rnb song, but i dont roll up one pant leg to my knee or wear panty hose on my head, and i don't have platinum teeth, i actually have clean straight white teeth and proud.

remember Freestyle is the classy dance sensation, where you still have dress codes to get into clubs. You will never get a real job with your pant leg rolled up, or pants hanging to your knees... you will eventually find out that you have to grow up and learn english.

Freestyle forever, long live understandable music lyrics!!

and I'll say it again.

You've all missed the artist who started out in the clubs, and whose music is still heard in the clubs. Some of her music has been mixed house, but at least two had latin sounds.

i remember when madonna was cool, well whenever she decided to shave her arm pits. I saw some picks, jesus, it was like she was gving a head lock to a squirrel.

she is washed up and she is too gay. Freestyle is about macho men and hot girls, about him leaving her, her leaving him, she misses him, he misses her, he cant without her love, she cant live without her. It's not about he misses him, or how pablo misses ricky's hairy chest, geez, it's not about avoiding words like genders, or singing in the third person, like elton john or Ricky martin. Face it, a gay artist singing a song would just be gay and would never catch on. Imagine if you heard stevie B singing about gayness. ie: spring Love with gay lyrics, remember this would be stevie b singing.

so maybe madonna could pull off a half assed freestyle song if she wasnt old, and maybe if she was as hot as britney spears or jessica simpson.

Madonna should stick to making pro-gay music maybe she and rosie can dance around in their pjs, maybe they can bring back those fruittie dancers from vogue and her tour. Never in a freestyle club, though.

Freestyle would die and die quickly if madonna made freestyle music, because she would bring over a gay database of people. ANd i know that Freestyle music and Euro music is still a straight man's choice of dance music. We are comprised mainly of Italians, portuguese, & greek community up here in toronto. We listen to different types of music, but when we go to a freestyle club we know the majority of guys are straight macho men and hot hot girls. House is ok but it attracts too many fruits, and hip hop attracts to many crooks.....what's in the middle? Freestyle

once you gayify a stream of music it will never be the same again. Look at disco and house will be the same.
That's just the cycle of life.

For your information, there is a segment of this board that is gay. I'm one of them, and if the others want to name themselves, that's up to them. All forms of music have gay fans, to think different would be wrong.

Freestyle has a gay base, I've seen if first hand, and when it was big in 1987-1992, it got just as much play in the gay clubs as straight.

I can't speak of stevie b (although his voice is kinda high. JOKING!) but there have been other freestyle artists mentioned here and in the chat that they were gay. I never paid much attention, because the mention never came from the artists themselves.

well that's just my opinion

i know you don't wanna hear it but it's true, the gay % of freestyle is small. But once it rises you wont see clubs as popular. I know Toronto pretty well and whenever i go to clubs, i know which clubs are gonna be filled with 'gays'. i don't have anything against people who are gay but i know how us GINOS are. We are macho men, and we don't care for finocchs. We like to feel comfortable in a comfortable environment.

I know i've been to new york and it's pretty big, and lots of people, i'm positive the gay population there is huge. There is a large gay population here in toronto. Yet they tend to stick to certain clubs, because of certain music. thank god.

As a straight man, i don't care if you're gay but i don't need to see it. And as much as i sugar coat it, you have to face it, this is reality. Most of the population really doesn't care if you are gay, but we really don't wanna see 2 gay dudes kissing. However 2 women that's acceptable, lol well only if they are hot and feminine. Yes! it's a double-standard but that's life.

and madonna is washed up, whatever happened to her? she started hanging around the wrong people.
you can be a gay artist however you will never be popular with the general straight male population.

I've got news for ya. You're probably right and wrong about the gay fans of freestyle.

Anything you can dance to, gay men are fans of, and it usually starts with us. We knew disco before straights, we knew house before the straights, we knew Euro before the straights, and we knew freestyle before the straights. DJ's for gay clubs know the audience wants more new stuff, so most dance records get exposure at gay clubs first. The reason that freestyle may be less popular is all the gay fans have moved on to the next big thing. LOL!

Perfect example, I remember hearing GiGi D'agostino's "I'll Fly with You" in the clubs well over a year ago, but KTU and other stations have just made it a heavy rotation song. Not every song played in a gay club is by gay artists or gay themed.

As for Madonna being washed up, her Music album is triple platinum (3 Million copies) and put 3 songs on the charts. Just because she doesn't appeal to you doesn't mean she's washed up.

As for you "Ginos", whatever! I know a number of gay Italian men (myself included) and you don't have anything more special than us that makes you "Macho". And as for not wanting to see two gay dudes kissing, that's fine. You wouldn't catch me kissing my man anywhere public, because I don't believe in Public Displays of Affection. I hold straight people to that too. I think is crass to be groping and petting and swapping spit out on the street, if your that turned on, stay indoors!

As for staying out of your face, get used to it man. We've been stuck watching you for years have your PDA's, hold hands in public, seen you on tv, in the movies, hear about you on the radio, get engaged, get married, and so on, and so on, and so on, so the least you can do is tolerate us.

and also a group thats not heard of much that could pull of a freestyle track would be "3T" ... tito jackson's sons aka michael jackson's nephew 😀 .. dey had some great songs on da first cd .. dey got good voices, great talent .. not many groups who first come out write their own songs ...

and yes .. besides freestyle, i'm a jacksons fan! 😀
