ceres has not been released here in canada and i doubt she will 2 of her songs 'open ur eyes' and 'dancing with an angel' are available on compilations thats all i really know of anything with ceres and canada

Gina Dee didn't do anything new. I really don't know if she still in the music business to tell you the truth. I will try to find out something and I will let you know.
Ceres, well, it all depend of SPG Music now. This label haves the rights for the distribution in Canada. They should release the album next year. All depends of the fans' demand.

You know Peter, I really need to check it out. I didn't know that she decided to quit the music business. I heard she was supposed to sing in other genres of music.

i hope spg decides to release ceres here in canada i think it would do very well she has a growing fan base here and she just keeps gietting bigger personally i think it would be a good move and make her even bigger
With a second consecutive top 20 radio single, things look good. However, the album is still better to be distributed as a locally priced IMPORT by SPG; the content of the album is not strong enough for the required promotion and merchandising to make a gold record (25,000 copies).
hopefully the price wont be outrageous cuz personally i love ceres music but i will mos def not be paying more than 19.99 for it and ive noticed that at hmv and stores like that when it comes to freestyle or euro-dance the cds especially non-compilations are crazily priced....
dj sammy, ian van dahl, lasgo, diana fox and other dance albums have not sold 10,000/each copies in Canada. Ceres is unlikely to be pressed domestically. They could import the cd from Distel Media at wholesale and sell it at domestic prices. This was done successfully in the past with albums and singles from Jocelyn Enriquez, Safri Duo and Eiffel 65 amongst many others.
Cargo Music Distribution Canada recently slashed prices on all german imports from Distel Media, SPV and ZYX to below $18 CAN.
Major labels have missed the boat on the retail market for dance. They are wholesaling the cds (like ian van dahl) for almost $13 and the reatiler selling it at $19-23. At those prices, they will drive the consumers away and discount the discs in dusty bins at walmart. wakie wakie. Ian Van Dahl $19 Avril craprock lavigne or rapjunk eminem $12 HMMM guess who will be on the top of the canadian sales charts.

thanks for the info guys. I live in America and really want to get the Ceres CD whenever it comes out. I hope Gina Dee did not quit the music biz since she has had some of the best freestyle music out there in the past few years.
