I would like to know what happened. Gonna contact Seductive Nena and see if I can get an answer. I recently joined that site too and I liked the vibe it had. I received a very warm welcome and everything looked legit.

I think they used to be latinfreestyle? Then Dave bought the site and restructured it just my guess? I don't know I'm not into the history of things of other forums. 😛
But Seductive was a mod over (she helped me get in after I waited 3 days for my activation lol) there and she told me she had no idea what happened.

No, LF and CUD were two different sights.
Club Urban Dance had people who felt that the name "freestyle" should be dropped, and renamed "urban dance", thinking that a cool new name would get radio play.
Frankie Cutlass produced two singles. One for George LaMond and one for Cynthia. Neither one went anywhere and people started to doubt the movement.
One of the final nails in the coffin may have been a new video game that was just released. It's called "Urban Dance Uprising" and features music by Old School Hip-Hop by artists such as Kurtis Blow, The Sugar Hill Gang and Eric B. & Rakim, so having a site named Club Urban Dance would bring in hip hop fans, not freestyle.
