I don´t know about you guys, but I love the songs of La-mour (Baby, baby, You told me, It won´t last forever, Torn between two lovers, Your love). Does anybody know anything about them? Who they are, what are they doing now, new releases? I´d really appreciate any help on this.
 
They had a song on Pryme Tyme Records titled "GO ON YOUR WAY". It was featured on the 1998 compilation FREESTYLE: A NEW DIMENSION IN TYME, VOL. 1

Well Lamour Was Definately Off The Hook Without a Question. But Since They Left T&G Funky Melody Records They Broke Up...They Were 2 Guys If Im Not Mistaken 1 Of Them is Davy Boy * Not 2 Be Mistaken With Davey Boi * He Did 2 Solo Slammin One Of Them is On A New Dimension In Tyme Volume 2 On PRYMETYME RECORDS. The other Song Im Not Sure Of.

I actually thought it was the same artist that recorded "IN MY DREAMS" as Davey Boi...Oh well...
 
Lamour

Hey everyone.. Well about Lamour.. They still work together.. Their names are Carlos Velasquez and David Rodriguez.. Both out of the Bronx.. Carlos produced and wrote lyrics, while David wrote lyrics.. Now Lamour is just one .. Carlos.. He has a Production Co.. He now produces for other artist.. But what most people don't know, is that they produced and wrote for others.. Like Eye to Eye.. Marybell love.. Jennifer Rivers..Angelique.. ANd others.. also, last i heard one of the guys from la mour were pissed off cuz someproducer had stole a sample from one of their pre existing songs. hes probably out now trying to get some legal actions or something.
 
Well the reason i know, i'm one of them.. i started Lamour.. David later joined the group.. David did some of the writting.. I did the writting and producing.. And about that person that took credit for two of my songs.. Well lets just say that i'm going to have my say in a court of law..

ALSO, I LOVE THAT TRACK "TORN BETWEEN TWO LOVERS" AND I HAVE TO APOLOGIZE B/C I'VE BEEN TALKING ABOUT IT AND SAYING THAT I THOUGHT THAT THE ARTISTS WERE W&E. HALF OF MY FREESTYLE RECORDS ARE AT MY OLD HOUSE AND I WASN'T SURE. SORRY ABOUT THAT, BUT AT LEAST I ALWAYS SAID "I THINK ITS W&E" COOL TO SEE THAT YOU'RE STILL IN THE WORKS.
 
thats cool.. its fine when people get that confused.. That song is one of my favorites.. It just gets me when another singer or producer takes the credit where its not.. I guess it will happen.. I give props when its due.. I just like the same treatment back.. Thats all.. Peace
