I think being lied to hurts more in the end. I mean, here you are, thinking that you are building something with this special person and you are trusting them (as anyone should in a relationship) to only find out, it's all a lie.

From experiense, I can tell you, being lied to and finding out from a friend hurts the most!! At least if someone say to me, I don't want to be with you anymore, it would hurt, but I'll fell relived to know where that person stands. Then i'd know it is time to move on.
