I WAS JUST WONDERING AND IM ASKING THIS QUESTION TO FANS AS WELL AS ARTIST, PRODUCERS ETC. TO THE ARTIST WHAT ARTIST OR INDIVIDUAL INSPIRED YOU TO GET INTO THE BUSINESS AND HOW SO. TO THE FANS WHAT ARTIST HAS INSPIRED YOU OR YOU FEEL HAS MADE AN IMPACT IN YOUR LIFE WITH THERE MUSIC ETC. HOLLLLLLLLLLLAAAAAAAAAAAAAA BACK 😀

Well for me. I would have to say there are many. I grew up right in the middle of it all The Bronx. I would have to say as far as artists, George Lamond, TKA, Noel, and the Latin Rascals. Mickey Garcia also inspired me very much. Aswell as Owen Soba, The Kiss connection, and Chris Barbosa. I saw young Latin kids doing what I wanted to do and knew I could do and said this is something specail. I was a fan back then and I still am. I guess I have to say I love it and couldn't see myself doing anything else.

well I got into singing as a dancer, but after I started singing, my girls were Safire and Judy Torres. Judy's(No Reason to cry) and Safire(Let me be the one)among her other fabulous songs.

def. T K A...! hands down.
I also grew up in the Bronx...right in the middle of the freestyle explosion. so i have been influenced as fan...BY ALL.

Wow Angie alot of them! Lets see...first there is Johnny O...through his music he showed me to be calm...and that never give up and that to pick myself up cause im loveable and will find another. lol True thats what I feel.

With Sa-Fire I feel through her songs...especially "I'm Gonna Make It" that songs serves as an inspiration for me that NOTHING can put me down...and that dreams can come true for me if I pursue them and never lose hope.

I GOT INTO THE BUISINESS FOR MY CHILDHOOD FRIEND REINALD-O GOT ME STARTED , BUT AS FAR AS ADMIRE I AMIRE ALL OF THEM

I LOOKED UP TO SAFIRE, JUDY TORRES, NYASIA, AND THE MEN CORO, GEORGE LAMOND , JOHHNY O ,NOEL AND TKA ,

Safire's " I'm gonna make it" is one of the song's I play to help inspire me to reach my goals. Lil Johanna's "I wanna make it" is another. Lil Johanna did a remake of Lil Suzy's "take me in your arms" and Lil Suzy did a couple of her song's "Till the end of time" and "Real love".(some info for ya) Anyway... there are many other artist I like. Lissete Melendez, Cynthia, Rockell, Safire, Nyasia(yes you my fellow CF'er)😉 And many others! Alot of songs for sad moments, happy moments, and inspiration!! I also was friends with someone trying to get inthe business. I myself sing well. I always sing along with my freestyle!! One day I would like to see a club concert on tv!! One day. Keep it real my peeps!!!😀

Definately got to say Johnny O, but I love all the artists. But Johnny's music is what really got me into freestyle. It's hard to describe, but the lyrics and his voice, were just so powerful. On a bad day, it cheered me up, on a good day, it only added to my good mood.

Around the same time I also was getting into Cynthia's music, and then I heard Dreamboy/Dreamgirl and I was hooked. Plus to this day Johnny's music means so much to me. Especially Db/Dg because when I was ready to give up on men and love, I met a special friend who calls me his dreamgirl and has dedicated that song to me on the radio.

Ok, I'm getting off track. But I love and respect all the artists out there, and because of Johnny O, I am a fan of this music and always will be.

My story is quite unique, actually. Although I was in high school during the late '80s and early '90s (the heyday of freestyle), I wasn't actually that much into freestyle at the time. I was more into rock groups like Def Leppard and Skid Row. I knew some of the bigger freestyle artists who managed to cross over into pop (Stevie B, Cover Girls, Sweet Sensation, etc) and I was a casual fan of this music but that was the extent of it.

It wasn't until about 1993 when I started going to clubs that I started to get into dance music, generally, and freestyle, specifically. It was that summer that I heard the one song that finally hooked me for life - Lil Suzy "Take Me In Your Arms".

Over the years my knowledge and love of freestyle music have grown exponentially and I have Lil Suzy to thank for it. For this reason, I would say she is the artist that has had the most influence on me as a fan.

It begins with Shannon.I was in my early teens when I first heard Shannon. Her music was all about having fun through a time that was ruff world wide.We were almost in WWWIII at the time she stared. To me she is the Queen Diva.

Lisette melendez, inspired me in a way that no other artist ever did.I love her lyrics. She is very talented. When she sings, its as if I'm in the story.I'm in another world you can say. She's got a beautiful voice and I can't stop listening to her voice.Though she is a diva, shes very special to me.I'm one of her biggest fans.

Finally last but not least Noel inspires me.His music example Like a Child that plays and Silentmorning in which yours truly is very proud of that name are just a few to metion that i like. Why?
Believe me or not,I learned the life of playing and being played just by listening to these two particular songs.Yes he left freestyle for a bit and tried other types of music but I still love all of his freestyle music.
