i heard it myself on the radio in rookie car. i think it's classic freestyle but hey its freestyle.
 
Well daaaaaaaamn I make a thread to thank ppl and give my shout outs and it turns into a philly sucks/ppl lie/frock it thread! Well I'm here to tell I LOVE PHILLY and I LOVE FREESTYLE!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't listen to the radio so therefore I dont care whats played anymore, not saying it wouldn't be nice to hear it, which I did hear some on being played on the radio when I left the club that night! As long as I keep it alive within myself... thats all I care! The sites and the great ppl on them as well as the Freestyle File are the BEST supporters!!! Zip it w/the negative BS ..its played out just like most of the songs played on the radio!

Well, as for my review of the show, Im a tell ya like this....If We didn't know the Artists like we do, it would have been a waste of time, In MY Opinion. There was NO Freestyle Played all night long.....However, Ashley, NuImage, Stevie B. and Fabiano AKA Sean Paul....Did a Great Performance.

I don't know what was going on with the Audio System...it was.......TERRIBLE....I would be embarrassed.......

Well, at least we got to chill with Ashley(It was a pleasure meeting you Ash), TonyG,Tyree,Vic and Pomp(You guys are truely awesome....explosive performance!!!)....

I will Check EveryOne out back here in Atlantic City, April 16th and May 21st big FReestyle Shows People Get REady....

One last note....I dont know you Joe....but Im sorry if you feel that people are lying to you or have issue with you, please deal with it between yourself and the other Party..Not Here......
 
Regardless of the drama and audio problems of that night. It sounds like it was an awesome show. I've seen Ashley preform once and it was awesome. I haven't seen her do her new song I would kill to see her do it. Mona, thanks for the info.

Joe , hang in there I dont think they forgot you on purpose , Sometimes thinks get so hectic the day of an event . If i didnt have my head on id think id be lost as well.

Tank ....shes great! I can't wait to see her perform again (when theres no audio problems) I bought the single and have been listening to it all day! Its very catchy
 
i can vouch for ashley shes an amazing singer saw her a month ago an cant wait to see her perform again i call party 105 at least 2 times a day to make a request
they might not have played it yet but will continue the effort

I still don't understand how you were waiting when we never gave a definate confirmation, it was just and offer on trying to get you to the show.

Dublin's Saturday

First, let me THANK everyone who did come out and support the artists. Ashley, Nu Image, Fabiano and Stevie B. Freestyle is alive and well in Philadelphia even without radio support.

Secondly, there were many positive and negatives about that nights event. Trust me the negatives will be handled so I can have a pleasant experience the next time, as well as everyone in attendance. And there WILL be a next time!

Running an event involves a lot! Being part of an event involves a lot, sometimes more than others. Joe, I don’t know you, but if you wanted to come to the show, you as an adult should’ve made sure you had a way to get to the club and home. If I want to do something, I make it happen, whatever it may be that day. As for Nu Image, they are stand up guys and I’m sure they were caught in the hustle of the event and forgot. If you want to dis Philly, Freestyle and everything else, go right ahead it’s a free world. Don’t take it personal, they weren’t out to hurt your feelings. Put yourself in their shoes. These guys put their money where there mouth is by recording, releasing and doing shows. I’m sure when they offered you a ride they wanted to make it happen. These guys are really doing the best they can, please cut them a break.

As for the night in general, it was PACKED up in Northeast Philly. I can’t speak about the fights since I was working with the Sound Company to get it working, but once they started they were disposed of out of the building immediately. I give Dublin’s staff much props for the way they handled the two unpleasant situations. BTW, I did play a Freestyle set that included Lil Suzy, Collage, Soave and some others I can’t remember right now. The set before the groups I choose not to play Freestyle since the groups would be bringing it then, plus I had a ton of request for hip-hop. Sorry, I can’t play Freestyle all night, it would drive me crazy! I agree the Sound System sucked, but that was out of my control. I did what I could to make it better. Ashley, you are a TRUE PRO, as you stood there and did what you did. It takes a true performer not to melt away when technical problems arise. I apologize again to you and I will make it up to you! I said it Saturday night and I will say it again Nu Image is the next TKA! Fabiano thank you for being there with your guys. Mr. B as usual great outing!

I wish I had a chance to meet some of you people who post here that were at the show. Next time, please introduce yourself.

just wanna wish Ashley good luck and say congrats on the show .
as for hip hop i would not play it since it was a FREESTYLE show . wish i knew who asked for the hip hop at a freestyle show and as for the fights now im glad i did not go people cant handle there drinkin thats why i dont do clubs much people get drunk and fight over stuff. but if there is a big show in my area again good luck to whoever comes .
