In NYC handling my biz!!!!
For those that live in NY, you must be familiar with the Scratch N Match game that comes in the daily news. Well there's a mess with Saturdays numbers. Obviously there was a typo in the newspaper, and 1 number was incorrect. But people who thought they won money up to $100,000. are pissed and went to the Daily News headquarters today to demand their money. The Daily News says it isn't their fault, it's the company that sends them the numbers. But people aren't having it and they're all standing out there right now, saying they're all getting together to sue for millions.

I have a feeling they'll ban this game now.
 
I think that is messed up what they did. You don't play with people's feelings...BURN THE BUILDING DOWN BABY!!!!

Well I just heard on the news that the headquarters is only taking their names and phone numbers and that they'll get in touch with them. There's a lot of angry people out there.

Can you imagine thinking you've won (after checking your ticket a dozen of times) to only find out.. .ya, the ticket says you won, but you really didn't.

Sh*t, we all knew it was fixed, but this is ridiculous. These people should get something.

Sometimes I wonder about the "fix" thing because a couple of years ago when they had this, I actually won $250. And they mailed me my check. I was so happy! So since then, I've believed in it.

I would be pissed off big time, If I was holding a "winning" ticket, and was told that it was a typo or something!
 
They all are going to get compensated but I still don't understand how. Something about another drawing for them and the pot will have something like a million dollars.
