With all the ones I've been to, I'm going broke. That's why when I go to one of those things now, I don't bring a gift. I TAKE one home with me.

Lol....I've worked far more weddings then I been to. I'll be broke if I was a guest at all the weddings. I tell all my friends to eloupe(sp?). 😀
 
Actually if you're giving cash it should be the amount the dinner was. And on average the dinner is about 50-100 per person. Cash/gift card is great this time of age. Just make sure it's some place they go to. Most people that get married have been living together for a while or have their own things when they move in together. So no need to buy items.
 
The best gift would be telling them "Don't do it".... :lol
Personally, I give cash... they know what they do & don't need .
 
When I married my ex, all I got was a dish rack, a set of cheapo glasses and a toaster that would catch on fire every time I used it. I got even less out of my marriage.

Lol...kinda, I invested too much and ended up wanting to jump out a window, either that ot push him out a window.
 
I still even have 3 of the juice glasses left from the cheapo Wal-Mart set, so they outlasted the husband. At least my man I'm with now is better than my ex. But like my dad used to say- "My next one will be even better."
