I would say it depends on the people getting married what type of people they are or yuo can go with more tradiotional gifts wine glasses we all use them,or a gift certificate to Bed bath and beyond something they can both use or if there registered a certificate from there. even a nice throw blanket.

Usually $100 per person. So u and hubby=$200.

I usually do a $50.00 gift certificate from where they are registered at...if they aren't registered anywhere then like Angie said...Bed, Bath & Beyond is a dynamite store! 😀
Of course you can do different amounts depending on how close you are to the couple. 🙂

I usually go to these things solo, so I put $10.00 in the card. $25.00 if I bring a guest.

Well that depends LaBetty are you talking about what you put in the money bag? If you asking money bag then DJSCIASCIA is correct. The wedding gifts where they are registered at is mainly for the shower. DJSCIASCIA either's been to a few weddings or worked a few like me LOL
