if you put all the artists that were mentioned on, i dont think there would of been room for individual vocals!!

plus, many were not singing, or retired and one group (info-soc) hasnt touched a freestyle song in about 10 years prior to this release.

ok, you guys gotta reason here. these guys were invited to do the song probably because they still believed in freestyle and wanted to be apart of something to make it grow again. The rest of the other artists probably gave up on it at the time. And Kenny.....if we were able to pull off "we are the world" and that jd all star dedication joint then what makes you think we couldnt have any more artists on "we are the ones"? Anyway, I'm happy with the people that were on it, regardless. Where's JParker by the way? He should know everything about this song if anybody.

This was a Chris Barbosa project. I remember this clearly because
GL himself gave me Chris's # to call him about it. I called Chris
and he was kind enough to send me the single free of charge!
I don't know if TKA was asked to participate? I think they were
split at that time? So, it probably wasn't even questionable?
Maybe one of the fellas can answer that part better?
