Thanks! There were all type genres of music. They wanted to put together all music without limiting any. There was rap, R&B, Salsa etc.
The purpose was to show all independent artist at their best & show appreciation for their hard work. I performed at Lincoln Center last year & that's how I was chosen for one of the categories.
4 types of genre were in this category from Rock to pop, I was the only one with Freestyle. The opportunity to even be nominated out of 35 performers of all genre type is a good thought.

weel that is your opinion,but i gotta tell you ULTIMIX if she did suck at what she does, can u please tell me WHY did SHE WIN the award? 😱 because i know your not gonna tell me that the peep's that awarded it to her suck too,because u would be wrong on that too,i mean you dont have too like everything you hear,BUT your in NO position to say that anyone els out there doesnt deserve it."BECAUSE U SAY SO"....<-----and that's just my opinion😱 .......vapro
