Walking Away

Yesterday I came to find
that this relationship was a waste of time
You never meant a word you said, cause they were only lies.
Time and time again I told you please don't break my heart
but you didn;t seem to care cause we are now apart.
Why was it so hard for you to tell me that you don't feel the same?
Why could't you just say we're through instead of playing your games?

Now I'm walking away
I'm not going to turn around this time
Don't think I'll return cause this is my final good bye.
I'm walking away from the pain tears I've cried
Now it's time for me to change the way I felt for you inside.

Today you decide to call to tell me that you are truly sorry
and I reply; just save your words cause for me you don't need to worry.
No more tears will fall. No more will I chase after you, cuase the biggest mistake I've made, was believing that your love was true.

hey thanks.. i wrote that for a friend that was going through a situation... thats how I come to write some of these poems.. other people's relationships and also of coarse mine inspire me to write... glad you like it and there will be more to come..

Thats how I usually write too hear say. Some one i know might be going through something and it sort of inspires me to write.
