just wondering how rare the very first mic mac release is?
does anybody know if it is the only plain mic mac label. i thought it was interesting that its yellow and not the beige/red early label style.

not too rare...although i dont think this is the sort of record any label would want to claim as its very first release LOL...ironically enough vicky ryan's "loves gonna get you tonight" was originally meant to be sung by judy torres while vicky ryan was meant to sing "no reason to cry"....neither artist liked the song they were given, so they switched...and the rest is history lol

"LOVE'S GONNA GET YOU TONIGHT" by Vickie Ryan is an awesome Old School track that is hard-to-find, but not extremely rare (it's out there, if you look for it). It is one of those few Old School tracks that features a powerful, soulful female vocals. It’s a bit much for a lot of people’s tastes, perhaps that’s why you made that comment?

Anyways if you enjoy Old School Freestyle songs like “GOOD ‘TILL THE LAST DROP” by C-Bank featuring Eleanor Mills, the Vickie Ryan track is sung in a very similar fashion. It is a true Freestyle classic that many people either don’t know about or have dismissed simply because she can sing her ass off, which most people aren’t used to hearing on a Freestyle record!
