Using your bare hands was the best thing I ever saw...... against that dog.

But this is a dog with teeth and he lives in your building.

Real sharp teeth.

So walk around with protection.

You never know.....you may need to use it......and if the other dog ever shows up.....you have double protection.

My mom came up with the name. she was all white with little tan specks on her, like a biscuit. so, the name matched her so i decided to give it a twist......"BIZKIT", like the group LIMP BIZKIT.

SEXXXE, mine is getting chubby but i started feeding her less. its so cute to watch them beg!!! but we cut all her portions in half and she seems to slimming down a tad, not much though. now that we have the 70 degree weather back, she will lose it running in the yard.

Can you post a pic? Diane is dying to see a pic!

I am so sorry to hear about Tyson. That is absolutely terrible. And the moron that let his pit bull walk without a leash is a fkn a*****e. You are absolutely right, that could have been a child. You hear all the times about things like this happening with Pit Bulls. I know some of them are very gentle, but the majority of them are vicious. We had an idiot in my building that had one, the Super's son, so what could you say. And he used to have that dog on the elevator and I always used to think what if he attacks someone, especially in the elevator, forget it, you would have no chance. I think there should be somekind of law against having Pit Bulls. I know that is extreme, but you just hear so many bad things about them, and when you have a careless owner the outcome can be dangerous. Any animal has the potential to be dangerous, but Pit Bulls are so strong, I just dont think they are safe. Anyway, I am so sorry for you, a pet is a family member as far as I am concerned and I am sure it was like someone attacking your child. I hope he recovers ok.
 
NayNay..may I make a suggestion...get yourself some Mace and spray the shit outta that dog and his owner if they come near you and Tyson again.

LOL, I THINK THEY ARE SO MUCH CUTTER CHUBBY!! KENNNY TELL DIANE ILL TAKE PICS AND HAVE THEM PUT UP SOON..THE DR TOLD US TO PUT MY BEBE ON A DIET CUZ ITS NOT GOOD FOR THERE HEART BUT I FEEL BAD LOL STILL.. BY THE SUMMER HE WILL ALSO GET MORE ACTIVE BUT I DONT WANT HIM SKINNY LMAO!! HES LIKE A PIGGIE EVERYTIME HE SEES FOOD HE JUST ATTACKS IT LOL..HE IS THE SWEETEST LIL THING EVERRR.. SO PLAYFUL AND LOVEABLE HE LOVES CUDDLING NONE OF MY OTHER DOGS DO!!
 
Hey everybody,

Tyson is so much better, now he thinks he is a killer dog, you have to hear how he barks when he hears that pit coming downstairs. I am so thankful that he has healed so well so fast because I would have felt like shit leaving on friday, knowing that he needs me. I thank you all for your concerns and I will post up pictures of my boy as soon as I figure out how to do it.

Sexxxe, I used to see this Chihuahua around my job who was so fat the poor thing couldn't walk. I would see the owner and her, walking on my way home. The owner would be standing there waiting for the dog to catch up. The dog would take like 3 steps and then have to stop, then take another 3 steps then stop. LOL So cute. You would see the owner stop and wait patiently for his dog. She always had on a sweater with stripes and she was so round. I haven't seen her in a while, I hope she's ok.

theres a simalar situation out here on long island but the dog is a mixed. I dont know if he has pit in him but he is in the shelter waiting to be put down but its been in the system for a year and the owner is still fighting it.

I would kill any dog that would try to attack my little BIZKIT!!!!!!

BTW, my friend had 3 pit bulls and one was worse than the next. his biggest one attacked me once but i knew how to fight a dog off so nothing happened to me. he was very apoligetic to me afterwards about his dog but i shrugged it off but many people cant fight these dogs off. they are so unpredictable.

Thank you baby I feel so much better now that I know my boy is good. It was something so horrific that I was not sure what was going to happen over the weekend; I know that next time a dog tries to attack my boy, it is going to have the surprise of its life.

Thank you, I definitely will keep you guys posted. I called home to check up on the dog and they were in the park and I was told that the park had about three pits loose, I would really like to know how to deal with this situation; Kenny said there is a way to fight off a pit and I think I need to learn how. I have a funny feeling I will be going thru this again.

well, mace is a good deturrant but sometimes it wont stop them. The methods i have used (i know you will hate me for this) is simply punching it in its face. I know its cruel but when a life is at stake, i would beat it off with a bat. you have to show him your not afraid of it. I know its a bit hard to do but its worked when my friends 3 pitbulls tried attacking. the funny thing is that after you do it, the owner would say "oh, they were just playing and they would have ripped you apart if they wanted to".
