I wish they would do one but I doubt that the majority of VH1 viewers would watch it. But it still isn't a bad idea. I watch those all the time. We could have artist like Angelique and Wickett Rich on there.
no no no no! not vh1's where are they now. vh1's behind the music of the freestyle days.....sound good? that way youre not only getting a freestyle biography/story/reveiw/,and interviews but youre also getting a where are they now look, all in one. what do you guys think?
I will be glad to assist in any research that is needed.

Plus maybe everyone here can get a lil recognition.
jack g, not where are they now. if the segment decides to run the freestyle part, itll only probably last for a couple of minutes. i think itll be better if it was a "behind the music" thing, that way theyll devote 30 minutes just to the world of freestyle music.
I hope that's the correct email addy! I told them how much I love the shows "Behind The Scenes" and "Where Are They Now" and I told them that either would be good for an 80's Dance/Freestyle segment. Let us know JackG if they contact you!
VH1 did do a Where Are They Now? Dance version. I know they featured Lisa Lisa and maybe another 1 or 2 freestyle artists. I e-mailed them a letter requesting a freestyle episode.
They have never done just freestyle alone, but have included many in one of the Where Are They now episodes. It had Brenda K Starr, Pretty Poison,and...I can't remember the others.I know they had something about that artist who sang,...."I just want to be your lover girl"...
