VH1 just put a smile on my face with the 1987 edition of “I Love The 80’s”. In the first segment of the television show, Lisa Lisa was featured as an important musical figure for the year. The segment featured footage from her videos (featuring Full Force) “Head To Toe”, “Can You Feel The Beat”, “I Wonder If I Take You Home”, and “All Cried Out”. Popular actress Juliette Lewis spoke of how big of a fan she was and Chicago born (Lincoln Park High School) actor Freddy Rodriguez of Six Feet Under also spoke of growing up to Lisa Lisa’s music. He even uttered the word……………….FREESTYLE during his interview segment. Lisa Lisa seemed genuinely surprised that Juliette Lewis and Freddy Rodriguez were fans of hers, as she is now a big fan of theirs.

I can’t wait for the rerun, it was fun.
