Regarded as a "talented child most likely to entertain her peers for
sheer enjoyment" in kindergarten, this statuesque, Latina beauty was born to Dominican parents and grew up in Washington Heights New York City.
Her playtime consisted of singing to the radio and practicing in school plays and functions since she was four. Attending Teaneck H.S. in Teaneck N.J. gave her the opportunity to establish a lifetime bond with choral director, Dr. Maredia Warren. Dr. Warren appreciated Vanessa's true love to achieve vocal excellence.
She attended Westminster Choir College & Montclair State University as
a Classical Vocal Major but always kept her songwriting hobby for
Dance/Freestyle close to her heart.
In 1998, she recorded the "For You" dance single with Detour Records
produced by Ruff Beat producer Sal Chisari and is a songwriter of
"R&B, Pop Ballads, Dance/House and Inspirational Music." We have seen that
this talented, unsigned artist continues to excel with every single she

its advantages from a creative standpoint as you can work on multiple
genres and improve your flexibility as a singer", Vanessa simply states.
