valentine's day is what you make of it. I've never had anyone special on any Valentine's day. No big deal. There's always next year.

LilShyGirl, you are not a dork because you've not had a serious boyfriend by now. I've not had one either, and I'm 35.

This is my year though, and I feel something coming on for me.

I'm going shopping for myself on Valentine's Day. I'm gonna eat what I want to eat, get some new clothes, get my taxes done and see how much of a rebate I'm getting, and I'll try to inject some humor into this day. I'm picking up a heart pin, and wearing it on the cuff of my shirt. When people question me as to why it's there, I'll say that I'm wearing my heart on my sleeve. :lol Or....if the person I'm talking to is a cute guy, I'll tell him "I've got a heart on for you." :lol
