I'm spending Valentines day with the man I been dating for 4 months. I haven't really had a HAPPY valentines day for quite some time. I just wouldn't let anyone in my heart after my ex..so it feels good that there is someone who cares for me and wants to share that day together. Of course my kids are always my Valentines but I am looking forward to just hanging with my guy, having a nice dinner and giving him a massage that will put him to sleep.. so he'll be well rested for later that night.. Haaaaaaaaaaaaa

And Joe, no more negativity!! God is just getting you ready for "the one". Your lack of confidence is going to doom you. Do not get all depressed just because of a holiday. You found someone before, you will find someone again, but being you are a special and caring man, it's going to take a bit for someone as special as you to cross your path... have faith, confidence and love for yourself, and I know you'll be talking pillow talk to someone soon!!!

In a perfect world, the guy I really like a lot would take me out that night and admit his feelings and have that night be our first official date. But that probably won't happen, so back to reality. Most likely going to get together with my other single friends, and go out and have fun just like any other Saturday night.

Plus Valentine's Day is pretty hard for me cause back in 2000 one of my really close friends was hit and killed by a drunk driver, so I tend to just keep to myself that day.
