Having to watch my every step,
Having to watch my every move,
"A fifteen year old should not be acting this way",
I never had the right to choose.
You guys never gave me that right,
I forever have to watch what I do and say,
What will happen when I do something crazy?
What will happen if I surprise you someday?
I wouldnt do anything on purpose,
You guys should know me by now,
But what if someday I forget?
Forget all the rules and regulations somehow.
I want you to be able to understand,
That if Im angry I should have the right to cuss,
Theres a thing called Freedom of Speech,
There is no reason for anyone to fuss.
Having to satisfy my parents,
Having to satisfy all my true friends,
My heart is screaming out for help,
Knowing I may let you down in the end.
All I can say is that I'm sorry,
But its not like Ive commited a sin,
Its not like Ive commited a crime,
I only wanted to be with him.
I want you to be able to trust my judgement,
I never gave you any reason to doubt,
Please try to understand when I say,
This is what growing up is all about.

I can relate alot to your poem. But let me tell you....never grow up to satsfy anyone. And dont give a damn about what anyone tells you. From looking at what you wrote I think you are capable of looking out for yourself. You have to break away from the opinions somehow. I know it's hard because you are young. But I went through that myself. I feel your folks need to except you for who you are.....to allow you to form the person that you are yet to become. Instead of becoming a pleaser.

I guess it has to do with a lot of things, and basically has to do with everyone. Kinda hard to explain exactly whats going on in that head of mines..so Im not gonna even go there..LOL..but thank you.
