You ask me if I love you
my answers the same of course I do
for as long I've loved you, for better or for worse.
Although from jump street our love has been cursed.
As I think back about our history
I can't think of any thing happy only misery
How many nights I cried hoping you loved me
If only you knew, if only you felt, if only you could see
As time went by I thought we'd grown closer
when in fact all I was living was a stupid lie.
The more I loved you the more you hurt me
And after all this time you want to go and be free.
How can you say you love someone and make them shed tears
As much as I begged and I pleaded it fell on deaf ears.
I listen to your cruel words of hate and regret
How you wish it never happened, how you wish you could forget.
And now I sit here with my cup of coffee, yep thats right sweetheart I smelt the coffee, I realize that I am stronger than I thought.
That I can live without you, that I can breath without you, That I can SURVIVE without you.
So my love if your desire is to get up and go
Don't let me stop you
Don't worry I'll be okay
Just open the door and go.
