i was going to say the corner of crooked hill and that road that leads to pilgrim state but didnt know the name. i work near there in the heartland industrial park

i used to drive a cab out of deer park..and for those of you who dont know pilgrim state is a gaint insane asylum..that is now going to be shut down and there going to build a new gated community there.. when i drove at night and had to do pick ups there for family members it just gave me the creeps ..id get in and out of thier as fast as possible... the whole area is haunted..so many stories of horrible things that happened there from so many people.id imagine theres plenty of lost souls still dwelling there to greet the new tenants...

I feel bad & sorry for both the kid & this woman who is being a single MOMS... And I have upmost respect on that.

My mother was bringing up me & my 2 brothers & 2 sisters (Counting ME..was 3 brothers) and my mother was a single parent...My father passed away when I was a baby so she was trooping by herself.. Well she had a boyfriend later on in life, But still was mainly a single Moms.

I bow to you & give you my upmost respect on how your doing this solo.. Hats off to you.

Aw, thanks everyone for the support. Luckily, I got my boyfriend living with me and he helps out with what he can. I know enough not to meet my ex anywhere or anytime alone. I had a long talk with the police officer who was in charge of the domestic violence section of the police department where I lived. He had given me lots of advice...behaviors to watch out for and what my different options were. I kinda think it's funny now that he thinks I'm that stupid that I would go meet him. I'm more annoyed how he's acting with my daughter.


Pilgrim State? Is that the same as Kings Park? I know Kings Park is supposedly haunted too.
 
I know that the mental hospitals are always supposed hot spots for paranormal activity. I've always heard stories of how creepy Kings Park looks. I wanna see it...though I'd never spend a night alone there. Is this the one that can be seen from the expressway???? I know some of the treatments they used on mental patients were inhumane. But damn, does look like a horror movie location.
