Good lord almighty!!!!!! I feel like a DUCK!

It's been RAINING since 10 this morning! :mad

I got caught out in that ish when the wind was blowin like 50+ and OMG! I was on the bridge! Never been so scared in my life! I've gone through things like this before but NEVER was in a car when it was happenin! I don't recommend it to anyone! :sosad

HELP!!!!!!! I need flippers or something! :stoned

Ugh Krys...that sucks 🙁 over here we are dealing with a heat wave, that rain woulda probably felt good out here in NY 🙂

Ummm Mike? I'm sure DC didn't have winds that high. LOL!! Gusts up to 70mph! ARGHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!! Talk about a bad hair day! :silly

Rain I can handle...the wind? Nuh uh! That is just too scary when you're tryin to drive. 🙁

Got caught in street flooding too! Thought my suv was gonna float away! Water up to the top of my tires! =\

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

The RAIN is back!!!!!!!!!!!! 2 inches in less then an hour! HELP!

I think I'm gonna swim home!!!!!!! :stoned

Damn that sucks! When this area would get hit with tail ends of tropical storms or hurricanes, it was havoc! Not just with flooding, but with accidents, ppl getting stuck, etc etc. I remember one time some moron took his bike out and thought the flood wouldn't affect him. :rolleyes I swear, people don't think!

Meggy...I was trying to make it to the bank earlier...when I got to the street that the bank is located...it was under water! Cars stalled everywhere! I had to turn back. And then on the way back to the office...the rain and wind picked up again...that's when I was going over the bridge! SCAREY!

The rain had stopped for about an hour but as I just posted...it's picked up again. Only reason I'm still at work is cuz I'm less then a mile from home. Lucky me! LOL!!!!!

Bout ready to get the pirogue (small boat for those of you who don't know what it is) out though! :stoned

Careful on the bridges! Those are a nightmare! One year, during a tropical storm, there was an accident on the Bayonne Bridge and both my company and one from Staten Island responded, and I swear, you think with all the equipment and things ambulances are loaded with it wouldn't really sway. Boy was I proven wrong! I was gripping that steering wheel so tight, my knuckles were white. Then once we got on scene, I felt as though I was going to be blown right off the bridge.

Careful going home. I hope the weather clears up and doesn't affect your flight this week! Should I send you some oars to go with the boat trip home? :lol

LOL Meg! Oars would be good right about now! :stoned

When I was on the bridge...it was rainin so hard I couldn't see...add that with the wind and OMG! I was askin for valium when I got back to the office :lol :lol :lol

Aim...I leave on Thursday! Should be fine by then!

Power just blinked on me so I'm outta here! Be back when I get home later on!

ROFLMAO Meg!!!!! Thank you!!!!!!! 😉

Vaprooooooooooooooooo what you :shush'n about? LOL!!!!!!

It's passin now Coro's! Has been all day...first the feeder bands...then the eye...then the tail end of it. Should be cleared out by tomorrow for the most part. Atleast that's what they were saying earlier. I should put the news on and see what's happening but I can hear the rain so I know it's not goin anywhere anytime soon! LOL

LOL Good way to judge the weather. "I can hear it, so I know it isn't done." LOL

It's like when they put the weather poeple out in the storm. You know it's going on, but just in case you don't believe it or anything, go look at the person standing right out there. :lol
