Being a fan of freestyle, dance and trance - I too thought the sample was awesome :sflower

PS: I always thought Roc Project's - Deja Vu (breakbeat remix by Johnny Budz) harbored some of those same elements.

Or more recently you got the song "It's time" by Ferry Corsten that you could consider more as a Trancy Electro Freestyle track!

Thanks everybody! Since a lot of ya'll are feelin' the track, I sent it over to Jessica Marie to see if she wants to work with it. The problem is, I'm back in the Bay Area and she's in San Antonio and since I moved my studio back, she doesn't have a place to record it. :crap

Hey Pete, beautiful track very progressive. Keep up the great work and please have Jessica Marie sing it, she has a cool voice. Freestyle fans must understand that in order to advance our type of music we need to add new elements to our sound in order to get back on the Map. A lot of Canadian and European artist are adding this type sound on their songs. Except for a few Maimi artist, I think the American Freestyle artist needs to think of not only remembering their roots (80's sound) but also adding more cutting edge sound to their sound and lyrics. I know that Lil Suzy has tried this and I think it worked for her. We need to let artist develop themselves and not bash them when they try something new. Keep Freestyle alive BABY.
