I got to see TKA at Freestyle Rush in Philly recently, and now my local club has them listed for Aug. 31st (Freestyle Friday). Is it true? Are you going to be there that night? Will they do any of their new material? I didn't get to hear the last song that was up on the CF site, I had trouble getting it to work.
Last night I got to hear Lisette Melendez sing (I had sooo much fun). TY, maybe you can ask K7 (Kayel) to bring K7 to BocaJoes in the future! I saw them at the E Center in Camden NJ afew years ago, it was way too long ago for me, time for me to see them perform again!

Supposedly, TKA's "Feel the music" is being played on Energy 92.7/5 (Chicago) since they will be in Chicago at the end of this month!!! That has been the best news for Chicago as far as freestyle music or dance music is concerned, in a long time. Being a big fan of their's since '86, I can say that it is about time I get to see them perform live, however I saw K7 back in '95 perform in Tinley Park.
As far as the song "When Will I see you again" is concerned, I loved the original mix and I am curious as to how the Thunderpuss mix will sound. I can't see it being any better since I love the original mix. I wish TKA great success and I hope they continue making music together!! I would assume that they are the headliners for the Energy Blast show here.

TYBLISS I HOPE THAT MTV DOES BEG THEM TO DO A VIDEO BUT THAT DOSEN'T SOUND LIKE HOW IT WORKS. NOT TO OFFEND ANYONE BUT I'M SURE MTV HAS A BILLION VIDEOS TO GO THROUGH EVERYDAY AND WITH THE PROMOTION OF THE NEW MICHAEL JACKSON THEY WONT EVEN GIVE OUR MUSIC A CHANCE.

Maybe you guys should try another approach.
You guys, just to let you know. MTV, back in 1996 had the lowest ratings on cable t.v. Now i do not know how it is now but i can tell you that MTV will air anything that brings a crap load of ratings on t.v. Thats why you see them airing stuff like the real world, and such topics that have nothing to do with music. And they do this just to bring the ratings. If they were to just be a station that plays videos all day 24/7 MTV just wouldnt be. They rarely live up to their name for the sake of their lifespan. Thats why i think that they should try an approach to bring alot of attn. They have to be a unique act to compete with the other bands who are striving to get attn. on mtv as well. If you see tka's video, at least one time on MTV that is a hell of a good news. Because chances are The reporters would want to make sections available just for tka on mtv.com and such, more and more people would see this and would request it more and more.... towards where mtv would at least give them airplay 3 times a day. Then, itll just go from there. When MTV airs videos, they go for de crem de la crem......its not like the old days where they would just air out all videos. So they make sure that what they show on t.v. is good and reassured of ratings. Thats why i feel that they should come out making big noise enough for the bozo's at mtv to hear.
