Is it very hard to find FREESTYLE over there? vinyl or cd...big shout outs to all of ya for keeping it going!! 😉

Hi BicMarc,

You find New Freestyle about 70 - 80 % only on CD-singles or on Sampler/Comp.

Only a few of the really good New Stuff come out on Vinyl.
Freestyle is not going well over the whole country.
There a several Parts where the People listen the stuff.

My friend knows some of the big companys and many of the Freestyle Producers over here and he get the Information, that the stuff what came out turns up to 100 % on CD !!!

And when you are not so fast enough you dont get the stuff on CD-Single, you have to buy a compilation where the song is at, and probably the other songs are so bad that you have spend more money, only to get the song you want.

It is the same with some stuff from the US, too but here it is more.

I e-Mailed Daisey, Carolina, Crystal from emotion in Motion and Julissa, too and all of them said they would send me some stuff.

Nothing happens till now. My mailes were sent out in November 2000. They gave me a reply and they were happy, that someone from Overseas is interested in their Music and promised that they would send stuff.........

How do youse think that Freestyle mixxes would sell out there. Are there any stores willing to carry them?

@ Big M,

normally the best selling Freestyle stuff are CD´s from Stevie B, Cynthia, Lil suzy and several Compilations. Sometimes you find stuff like Galaxy Freestyle, Maximum Freestyle,Masters of Freestyle, Boca and Lunafreestyle. Yesterday i saw the GENERATION NEX Sampler but they only get a few at sthe stores.
The German stuff is going good as well, but mainly Sampler not only a CD from 1 Group or Artist.
We have really good Freestyle here, too

To my personal knowledge, there aren't a lot of Bootleg medleys in Germany. The record companies release most of the new medleys.

Personally, I don't purchase the bootleg because most of them are not well mixed and the quality of some of them is simply awful!
