Ok guys here is the facts

KTU cut back their freestyle free for all show from 3 to 2 hours. And schedule to from 8-10 pm eastern.

WTMI-Party 93.1 is getting all the feed back to fine tune there music they will be playing...

And all of us are upset and we want to do something well here is how. Stop complaining and email the stations.

Phil.Michaels@cox.com - this is the PD for 95.3 in orlando and and party 93.1 in miami. Email him and let him know what you like about the station and what you want to hear.

kidcurry@power96.com - he is the PD for power 96 also in miami. He is the one who makes the choices for power.

www.ktu.com - the official website of ktu in NYC. You can become a armchair program director their and let your voice be herd. Call them especialy everyone in the tri state area. I dont see the links to their emails so i cant post this email up.

Now is time for action enough complaining. Email them and post your emails here and when they respond post it here to. Lets see who is going to stop complaining and take action.

Ayza i've sent many emails to Phil at Party 93.1... I did hear Fantasy Girl and Take me in ur arms in 30 min on 93.1!!!! I guess it's working...Guys u have to keep on emailing these pd's!!!

I just wanted to thank you for listening to us here in miami. I see you guys are playing more freestyle. Down here at 93.1 and i see more and more listeners switching all the time. Please let me know if you guys have any plans for a huge concert here in miami.... I will be up in orlando for the huge concert your having up there. And I am coming with many friends. Once again thank you please keep the freestsyle coming cause i know artists are recording new albums and please let me know if any plans for a concert down here...

so if we say we're sick of hearing them what do u think they're gonna play? freestyle? i dont think so. people are sick of hearing the new stuff, what makes u think they're gonna wanna hear the old?

i dont mean to sound pessimistic... but i honestly think KTU wants to move away from freestyle permanently. no one wants to hear it anymore ! i was at a club to see a VERY well known freestyle group perform in december and once the crowd heard it was a freestyle party.. they all ran for the door. there were literally no more than 20 people on the dancefloor when they performed.

im sorry but no one wants to hear it anymore. its going to take a lot for KTU to play more freestyle. hopefully everyone here will write and call and maybe something will happen.

Mr. Michaels:

Just wanted to let you know that I am thrilled to see you guys in Miami making some noise for the dance and freestyle community at large. I believe it was much needed and will provide all of us with the break from urban, top 40 and pop that's been playing down here.

I do, however, request more consideration be given to freestyle in the rotation. The old is fun and I love hearing Johnny O and Cynthia's duet but there are many many other old songs that might be added as well as a few new ones like Can U Stand The Rain from Safire. I know of a bunch of freestyle freaks that would be happy to provide a list.

I called the station today (305) 444-4404 and the girl told me the PD is still in Orlando. His official start date in Miami is Feb. 4th.

Therefore, I think emails is the best way.

Feel free to call that number and maybe they can provide more info.

P.S.
Like Ayza said,,,we need to stop complaining here and start letting our voices be heard via emails and phone calls.

Somebody is reading these emails so someone is paying attention to the feedback! I can't imagine this station paying for someone to open and respond and not compile some sort of feedback sheet.

Please everyone email the stations. All of them and try and kick in some doors. At least we would be trying in a positive way 🙂
 
i am not from florida but......

i am a freestyle fan.... and we need freestyle on the radios everywhere where the freestyle fans are still representing...... i sent my email and said my peace... i am not from florida but i love freestyle anywhere i go peace
