i guess one of the pioneers of the format.. said it in a song that came out a long time ago at the infancy of freestyle ...lisa lisa and cult jam..bottom line is .."can you feel the beat"??? and thats what freestyle is about..feelin that beat or that vibe...that makes it freestyle music!!! old school or new....."JAM MASTER jay" BY RUN DMC MAY BE A HIP HOP CLASSIC..or just as BOY IVE BEEN TOLD or TEARS MAY FALL OR MARIA .may be freestyle classics..were in a new era where JAY-Z and JA RULE are reigning on the rap format....and on the dance charts AMBER..or MOBY......... the new.."freestyle" that can make a return ..but we need new creativity too resurrect the format!!! TKA i believe has again paved the way....we need to see what follows..in the very least we can say they havent "remixed " the old ..and tried to shove that down our throats...again as the album title says freestyle "FOREVER" lets see who falls in after the TKA lead for freestyle into a new ERA.....ARE YOU READY???? lets take freestyle from here!!!! I would like to see any of the pioneers put out something other than a remix of thier old songs or any "new "artist put out something as good as TKA'S new release "forever" what is the new freestyle??? we shall see what comes about..with the success from this album..all said.. freestyle in my mind will always be associated with TKA just as boxing will be with mohammed ali..you cant have one without the other..no matter what the ERA!!!

This seems like a good idea...but this competition seems a little LOP SIDED here, meaning it should be a competition for new jacks, it would make the competition that more meaningful if it was!!
To see that willie Valetine is entering it only takes away from the drill of it. No offense to Willie but with his years of experience and constantly putting new stuff out its only obvious that he'll be the one to come up with something first and probably the best. So wouldnt it only be fair that being willie who he is, he step out of the way on this one and maybe be one of the judges with the rest of us as to which one is best ? I think it would only be fair!!
Everyone already knows what Willie is capable of so what would
he be proving?

Why not two categories then....Tybless and Willie already want to do it and there's takers on the nonprofessional side.
This is the best freestyle track with the same rules applied. This sounds great. Let's do it with everyone. Good luck all.
