sup cf this is for all the DJ'S here i wanna know was it and is it to this day hard to get a party to do i have been waiting for a long time to do another party the last party i DJ was in feb what am i doing wrong i see people take my cards but i dont hear from them im about to give it up if nothing happens soon .

it depends... what kinda music u plannin on djing??? i hope not only freestyle... you have to do all kinds of music and have to promote yourself very well... i do about 2 -3 parties a month... mostly trance and house...

when i did DJ the party i played everything from freestyle house hip hop and etc oldies for the old heads etc but now im fed up i have not did one in a while i think people did not tell me the truth they said i was good when they really wanted to say u stink oh it was only 1700 bucks i spent for everything .

Have you considered making compilations and Mixed CDs? There great for promoting your work and you can get Bob sell a few at Pat's 😉

yes Rhoq but not many people are askin me for cds and when they do they want hip hop i say i dont do that much hip hop i do mostly freestyle i have 2 cds out already but never had a chance to take them to pats

Joe...u gotta get into showcases or work for a ;larger cmpany if u want steady work..most parties these days are done by frends of the party thrower. I had by Dj comany for 10 years...and i was steady..weekend to weekend, that's because i did whatever came my way..block parties/bar/bahmitzfas,cororate parites..everything...u just have to get out there and meet the right people....make a professional brochure, it's helps a MILLION times better than a card...also....i really dont know how good u r, but mixing has NOTHING to do with parties, song selection AND crowd participatoin are KEY to mobile Dj'n....very differentfrom clubs.....email me DOSrecords@aol.com if u have any questions man.....peace PEtE
